Victoria and David Beckham's Santa trick

Victoria and David Beckham have the perfect Santa trick for their children. "VICTORIA and DAVID BECKHAM trick their three kids into behaving, by pretending SANTA CLAUS has cameras trained on their home.The former SPICE GIRL warns BROOKLYN, seven, ROMEO, four and 10-month-old CRUZ, they won't get presents if they don't keep their rooms clean.
She says, "From June or July onwards, I tell them there's a 'Santa cam' in the ceiling. And it really works. They'll tidy their rooms or do whatever to make sure Santa visits." {Source} I'll do the same thing when I have my kids, lol!

Oprah and Stedman are FINALLY living together

Oprah and Stedman are taking the next step in their 20 year+ relationship--living together. "Oprah's finally ready to let Stedman sleep over – every night.The talk queen and longtime beau Stedman Graham are finally taking their relationship to the next level and moving in together – after, oh, 20 years or so -- and tongues are wagging that this development could foretell the unthinkable ... an Oprah-Stedman wedding.According to Life & Style magazine, the pair have decided to cohabitate, possibly in the $6 million Chicago pad that O just bought. The mag's source says Oprah is finally "happy to let Stedman have what he wants." An Oprah rep confirms the news. No word, however, on how O's BFF (and sometime sleepover guest) Gayle King will feel about this." {Source}

Candids: Nicole Richie and Nicky Hilton

Nicole Richie was spotted eating. (BORING!) She has a drug problem not a food problem, people! Here's the exclusive scoop as reported by TMZ, "Nicole Richie loves gravy fries and inspiring rudeness in children. Richie was seen stuffing her face at Johnny Rockets on Melrose Avenue yesterday. Joined by pal Nicky Hilton, the rail-thin wrong-way driver shoveled gravy fries, a hamburger and a soda/milkshake combo down her throat. Two kids came up to her, asking if she'd pose for a photograph. Nicole repeatedly told the older boy to flip off his father's camera while they posed. Gosh, she's adorable." {Source}

New Couple Alert: PCD's Nicole and Laguna Beach's Talan

TMZ reports that PCD's frontwoman Nicole is going out with Laguna Beach hunk Talan. "The Pussycat Doll's front kitty, Nicole Scherzinger, and Talan Torriero of MTV's "Laguna Beach," set heads turning at The Grove in Los Angeles yesterday.Although the romance is new, the pair already seem to be tired of each other; talking on their cells while having lunch. Usually camera-friendly, Nicole hid under a hood and behind giant sunglasses. Talan was later seen carrying her purse. Salamat, baby. Kristin Cavallari, Lindsay Lohan and now Nicole ... this guy gets around." {Source} Frankly speaking, it's about time we heard Nicole's dating somebody! I also love the fact Nicole's hiding from the paparazzi with shades and a hoodie on while Talan's chatting on his PDA. Gotta love Hollywood!

Solange to drop her new album 'In My Heart' January 2007

Solange's sophomore album will be called 'In my heart' and her debut single will be a song called 'Pretty good'. It will release early 2007 and the videoclip premieres on BET's 106 & Park on January 19th 2007. Solange released her first album 'Solo star' in 2003. {Source} I guess Solange is riding on the wave of Beyonce carrying her son lately and being in Omarion's "Icebox" music video huh? Umm when is Kelly's album dropping?! I mean it's going on to two years and counting. I actually like Solange's debut album. Yeah I admit that. I love that song of hers, "Feelin' U"

Monie Love & Jeezy Drama

Just weeks after an on-air confrontation with Young Jeezy, female rapper and radio host Monie Love is no longer working at Philly’s 100.3 The Beat WPHI-FM.
Sources from the radio station confirmed to SOHH this morning that Monie (born Simone Wilson) is no longer employed there. Her departure from the station follows on the heels of her December 7 interview with Young Jeezy where the two argued vehemently over whether hip-hop is dead. During that conversation Jeezy also questioned Nas‘ street cred. The argument ended with Jeezy storming out of the studio. While many within the industry have speculated that the incident is the real reason behind Love leaving her morning show post, representatives at the station were unwilling to confirm.
“I have no comment on that,” Daisy Davis, Operations Manager at 100.3 The Beat, told SOHH.
The British-born Love was member of the 80’s and 90’s collective known as the Native Tongues (Queen Latifah, De La Soul, A Tribe Called Quest, Jungle Brothers, Black Sheep). Monie Love’s first album, Down to Earth, spawned two Grammy-nominated singles, “Monie In The Middle” and “It’s a Shame (My Sister).” A second album, In a Word or 2, was released in 1993. Love also released an EP Slice of Da Pie in May of 2000.
Monie Love did not respond to attempts to contact her regarding this story. [spotted at SOHH]

Like MJB said it best, "I'm tired of all this drama!"

Jeezy explains The Snowman symbol.

The title of the final "Harry Potter" novel revealed
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows
J.K Rowling reveals on her official website the name of the final Harry Potter book. You got two options--1.) go to jkrowling.com and play a hangman game to figure it out for yourself or 2.)Using your mouse, hover {re: lay your cursor} over her image to see the name. A little window would appear over the picture to tell you the name of the new/final Harry Potter book. I don't want to spoil it for the Harry Potter fans out there.

Jennifer Lopez and her ex Cris Judd competes on dancing show, technically speaking

Cris known in Hollywood as the man Jennifer married shortly after her relationship with Diddy went downhill is producing his own dancing show in light of the success of "Dirty Dancing" and "Dancing with the Stars." Here's the thing Jennifer is also producing a dancing-themed show as well. Let the competition of the exes begin! "I would never wish for something to be a failure," the 37-year-old dancer-choreographer told AP Television in a recent interview. "Everyone's trying to get by and everyone's trying to do their best and you can only hope for the best and you can wish for the best for someone," he continued. "So, hopefully both shows will be successful and they can both coincide and we'll have a great time." Judd's show is the reality competition "Dirty Dancing" on the Women's Entertainment cable channel, airing Wednesdays at 10 p.m. EST. Lopez is producing MTV's "DanceLife," about six aspiring dancers struggling to make it. The eight-episode series premieres Jan. 15 at 10:30 p.m. Judd's show was inspired by the '80s classic "Dirty Dancing," starring Jennifer Grey as rich girl Baby and Patrick Swayze as poor dance instructor Johnny. The premise: Eighteen women compete at a summer camp for a dance contract and the right to play Baby — to whichever professional ballroom dancer becomes Johnny — during the finale. Judd said things can get steamy on the dance floor. "It can get sexy," he said. "You're with this person almost 24 hours a day and you're doing everything together and dancing can get heated especially when you dance with a partner and you're dancing sensual..." {source} Sounds interesting.

Watch out K-Fed! Britney's in talks with Vanity Fair to do a tell-all interview about her marriage. Britney's in need of getting the support of the public especially after her going incommando incident. This interview just might seal the deal for her. "BRITNEY SPEARS has reportedly signed a deal with US magazine Vanity Fair to tell all about her failed marriage to KEVIN FEDERLINE. The TOXIC singer was so impressed by the publication's heartfelt interview with JENNIFER ANISTON following her split from BRAD PITT, she plans to lift the lid on her two-year union with the aspiring rapper. A source tells British newspaper The Sun, "Britney has agreed to make Vanity Fair her first big statement about her new life. "The interview will be very frank. She liked how they handled Jennifer's first interview after her divorce from Brad Pitt." {Source} Now K-Fed you got the upper hand now, play nice.

Kanye West's date offer got rejected by a Sugababe

So when I caught this Kanye West gettng dumped by a Sugababe, I couldn't stop laughing. The chick sounds like a snitch wanting some press. Well yes indeed she's gettting some. Uh oh she must not know about Kanye's habit of dropping 'ghost' messages in his songs. First off--Kanye used to date a Sugababe?!?! Second off--Is she the inspiration behind his song with the Game?! Oh the drama of it all, huh? "KANYE WEST was so furious when British singer AMELLE BERRABAH refused to go on a date with him, he instructed his assistant to tell her off over the phone. SUGABABES beauty Berrabah, who joined the girl band last year (05), has snubbed West on three occasions since they met at the Brit Awards earlier this year (06). The 21-year-old says, "I couldn't believe it when I got a phone call from Kanye's assistant. She said she was calling on behalf of Kanye who was furious because I had offended him by not dating him. "I told her that Kanye knew I had a boyfriend, but she wasn't having any of it. She said he was not used to being treated like that and I should be more considerate next time I see him." {source} Damn Amielle sounds like a snitch!

Barbara Walters on the Trump & Rosie Drama
Barbara speaks
"As the war of words between The View's Rosie O'Donnell and Donald Trump continues to get ugly, View den mother Barbara Walters (who's been following the action from outside of the country) has diplomatically weighed in on the feud. "Donald Trump is a personal friend of mine and has been a good friend to The View for many years," she tells In Touch. "I'm sorry there is friction between Donald and Rosie. That said, I do not regret for one moment my choice to hire Rosie O'Donnell as the moderator of The View. I certainly hope and expect that this tempest will pass quickly." Perhaps Barbara will play peacemaker - it is, after all, the holiday season!" {Source}
Barbara do NOT let Rosie go---she's giving your daytime talk fest, 'The View' ratings!!!

Inspired by the TomKat Wedding, Will and Jada to renew their vows

Will Smith and his wife Jada Pinkett Smith have been married for ten years now. Will, recently, said he got inspired from the TomKat Wedding to do a 'big' wedding ceremony for renewing his vows with his wife, Jada. Awww. "The MEN IN BLACK star and his wife have decided to hold another ceremony next year (07) to mark their tenth anniversary, after witnessing such a spectacular wedding. Will explains, "WILL SMITH and his wife JADA PINKETT SMITH were satisfied with the small wedding ceremony they held in 1997, until they attended TOM CRUISE and KATIE HOLMES Italian nuptials last month (NOV06).We had on OK wedding. We just came back from Tom and Katie's wedding. So, that made me realise we didn't have a big wedding. "They had a real wedding. It was just the most amazing, beautiful, wonderful, fairy tale experience ever and I was just sitting beside Jada going, 'Phew!' "I hadn't had too much success when we got married, so I couldn't afford that. Ten years - we're going to go back and do it again - renew the vows and all that." [Source]

Eddie Murphy's love life has made it into InTouch Weekly where they report Eddie is caught between two old relationships with Melanie 'Scary Spice' Brown and Shaun Robinson to his current relationship with Tracey Edmonds. Eddie, what now? So many women so little time?!?!
"The plot thickens for Eddie Murphy and his relationship woes. The recently divorced star of Dreamgirls is involved in a nasty dispute with Melaine Brown (aka Scary Spice). But insiders say that after a recent encounter with his ex-girlfriend, Access Hollywood host Shaun Robinson, 44, the actor is smitten again. Guess Who?

Can you guess which celebrity sisters is pictured on your left? I'll give you a guess: The older sister enjoys baby-sitting her kid sister's son so much that she said in the liner notes of her album, "I know you are too young to read this, but one day you will. You have bought so much joy to our family. I didn't know it was possible to love something this much. I did this album so fast, that when I needed a break I told my sister, "I gotta see my nephew." You were my break. You put my life back into perspective. Auntie BB loves you so much!" Click on the image to your left to see if your guess is correct.

Out & About: Mimi, Nicole, and Halle
MIMI IN ASPEN
"While a blizzard continues to rage in Colorado, Mariah Carey raises a glass to the holiday season in Aspen on Wednesday. The singer visits the ski resort for Christmas every year, telling the local Aspen Resort Magazine, "I have a sense of feeling at home there." {Source}
In the new issue of Star magazine, Mariah Carey is working on a autobiography that chronicles her life as a hair stylist before she hit it big. The name of the book is called, 500 Hours, in reference to the hours Mimi put in to become a licensed hair stylist. I guess Mariah left Trey, her rumored to be boyfriend in NYC. :(
NICOLE RICHIE IN LA
"'Tis the season to rock a '70s-inspired style, or so it seems for Nicole Richie, who models a retro look during her shopping trip in West Hollywood on Tuesday." {source}
Nicole was recently spotted out and about with her new man, Joel Madden at Fred Segal. Nicole is going for the discreet route not flaunt him wherever chance she gets route this time around. Well I met him and he loves to control his woman so Nicole if that's what you'll looking for by all means go ahead girl. See Nicole and Joel at Fred Segal [here]
HALLE BERRY IN LONDON
"Halle Berry rolls ahead at London's Heathrow Airport on Wednesday. The actress celebrated her one-year anniversary with boyfriend Gabriel Aubry last month." {Source}
Persistent rumors of Halle recording an album to drop this February has caused her rep to say "it's not true." So yes to all my Halle fans and readers out there you were absolutely right. The rumor originated from an Ebony magazine interview Halle did in support of her new film, "Perfect Stranger."

Ciara & Missy Elliott at NJ Nets vs. Cleveland Cavaliers game

The Mascot is some type of freaky, huh?

Ciara and Missy Elliott were spotted laughing it up with the NJ Nets Mascot last night. The New Jersey Nets beat the Cleveland Cavaliers 113-111 last night at the Continental Airlines Arena in East Rutherford, New Jersey. Beyonce and Jay-Z were also at this game. scroll down for the pictures I posted up earlier. My one question would be where's Usher at?!? Isn't he the part owner of the Cleveland Cavaliers?! FYI: Jay-Z is part owner of the New Jersey Nets. [pic credit: Just Jared]

Trump and Rosie drama
DONALD ON ROSIE
ROSIE ON DONALD
Rosie O'Donnell's response on 'The View' today in response to Donald Trump's response to Rosie's response to Donald's response to Rosie's attack on his Miss USA press conference-turned-publicity stunt.

The Trump and Rosie beef has been taken to the next level. Trump is hitting Rosie with a fat lawsuit. OUCH! "Real estate mogul DONALD TRUMP is threatening to sue ROSIE O'DONNELL after she made unflattering statements about him on US chat show THE VIEW yesterday morning (20DEC06). Co-host O'Donnell called Trump a "snake-oil salesman" following his announcement that he would not fire troubled Miss USA TARA CONNER. She then went on to talk about alleged extra-marital affairs and discussed Trump's finances, claiming that he went bankrupt - a charge he denies. Trump fires back, telling American publication People O'Donnell is "a woman out of control" and insisting he would be suing her over her statement questioning his financial well-being. He says, "You can't make false statements. Rosie will rue the words she said. I'll most likely sue her for making those false statements - and it'll be fun. Rosie's a loser. A real loser. I look forward to taking lots of money from my nice fat little Rosie."
O'Donnell seemed to realise she was in for a fight after she criticised Trump on the show. She said, "Here comes the lawsuit. Get ready. This is going to be good." Yesterday afternoon The View executive producers BILL GEDDIE and BARBARA WALTERS issued a statement in support of O'Donnell - and Trump. The statement reads: "Both Rosie and Donald are high-spirited, opinionated people. Donald has been a friend of The View for many years and Rosie, of course, is our enormously popular moderator. "We cherish them both and hope the new year brings calm and peace." {Source} LET THE ROSIE AND TRUMP DRAMA UNFOLD. DANG JUST WHEN I THOUGHT THE YEAR FOR ENTERTAINMENT COULDN'T GET ANY BETTER...IT JUST DID, LOL!

Foxy Brown is mad at media for only focusing on her misdemeanours and NOT her good side.

Foxy Brown wants the media to start focusing on her good side and not her bad. This is something Naomi would attempt to do herself. At least Foxy is pointing this out while Naomi is just being a complete fool about her situation. Anyhow I get where Foxy's coming from. Each time she's in the news they report on some crazy misdemeanour charges she supposedly ran up again. "Hip-hop star FOXY BROWN is furious the media only reports her misdemeanours and ignores all of the good things she does. The rapper, real name INGA MARCHAND, recently made headlines for assaulting two women at a nail salon in New York City. She explains, "You never read about the wonderful things I'm doing. How I pick up groceries for an old lady. "I adopted two crack babies. They say I'm the worst thing in (shoe designer Christian) Louboutins!" {Source}

Beyonce and Jamie Foxx answers your questions about "Dreamgirls"

AOL Black Voices aired this video footage of Beyonce Knowles and Jamie Foxx answering reader's questions about the musical "Dreamgirls." Great idea and great interview. Jamie had Beyonce laughing on and off. "Before you head to the theaters to see 'Dreamgirls,' watch what Beyoncé and Jamie Foxx had to say about working together on such a legendary project. Beyoncé stars as R&B singer Deena Jones, and Foxx as her ruthless manager/love interest Curtis Taylor Jr." Click on the image to access the video. {Source} Now if Beyonce wasn't with Jay-Z, I'm quite sure Jamie would have try to laid some game on her. These two seem really comfortable with each other.
And in related news Beyonce and her man Jay-Z were spotted doing what they normally do--courtside basketball seats date nights. Yeah basketball season has started so be sure to see plenty of pictures of these two sitting courtside on their dates. I caught these pictures online and found them really cute. They seem to be enjoying one another company a whole lot. I bet Jay-Z tried to spit a rhyme and Beyonce was like J not now, lol! click on all images to see bigger.

J.K Rowling dreamt she was Harry Potter
jk rowling
J.K Rowling author of the popular Harry Potter novels has admitted she dreamed she was Harry. "Harry Potter author J.K. Rowling said she is having bizarre dreams about being the boy wizard as she struggles to finish the final book in the hugely popular series.
The British author wrote on her website that she dreamt for the first time that she was in Potter's head and roaming around the magical world she has created for him.
The 41-year-old hinted that the stress was getting to her as she writes the closing chapters of the seventh and final Potter novel -- in which she has hinted that the beloved hero may be killed off. "I'm now writing scenes that have been planned, in some cases, for a dozen years or even more," Rowling revealed. "I don't think anyone who has not been in a similar situation can possibly know how this feels. I am alternately elated and overwrought. "I both want, and don't want, to finish this book (don't worry I will)," she wrote. She then described her odd dreams about Harry's world, which Potter fans are sure to scour for clues about what may happen in the final book. "For years now, people have asked me whether I ever dream that I am 'in' Harry's world," Rowling wrote.
"The answer was 'no' until a few nights ago, when I had an epic dream in which I was, simultaneously, Harry and the narrator. "I was searching for a Horcrux (a magical object in Rowling's books created through the use of the Dark Arts) in a gigantic, crowded hall which bore no resemblance to the Great Hall as I imagine it. "As the narrator I knew perfectly well that the Horcrux was jammed in a hidden nook in the fireplace, while as Harry I was searching for it in all kinds of other places, while trying to make the people around me say lines I had pre-arranged for them. "Meanwhile waiters and waitresses who work in the real cafe in which I have written huge parts of book seven roamed around me as though on stilts, all of them at last 15 feet (4.5 metres) high." She added: "Perhaps I should cut back on the caffeine?"
The seventh novel is reportedly due to be published next year at the earliest. The first six books in the Potter series have sold more than 300 million copies worldwide and been translated into 63 languages, making Rowling Britain's highest-earning woman. The novels have also been turned into hit films. "Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix," the fifth movie in the series, is currently being filmed and is due for release next year. Rowling said she recently went on a day trip to the film studios where she saw 20 minutes of footage "which looks fantastic." {Source} I can't wait for this book to come out. I'm re-reading the series in anticipation. But I think she should have kept that dream of her being Harry to herself. A little bit too much information if I may say so myself.

Met JD's baby girl, Shaniah

Sandra Rose posted up this interesting tidbit about JD's only baby girl. She's a pretty little thing. So if he and Janet get married, she'll become Janet's step-daughter. "Her name is Shaniah Cymone Mauldin and she is the only daughter of music mogul Jermaine Dupri and Atlantan Pam Sweat (no relation to Keith). Shaniah loves the camera so you will be seeing more of her in the near future. Shaniah and her dad JD just wrapped an ad campaign for Apple Bottoms and JD posted the pics on his MySpace page.
Speaking of JD, he's keeping himself busy since leaving his post as VP of Virgin Urban. On Monday JD shot the new Boost Mobile "ANTHEM 2.0" ad and print campaign with Jeezy (shout out to Tracy L. Anderson of Boost Mobile!) Later that night JD threw his annual company Christmas bash at Lotus. He had to compete with T.I. who also held his company Christmas party for family and friends at The View downtown. Monday was a busy night in the A.
" awwww

STAR'S 2006 "MOST ANNOYING" LIST!
Star's 2006 most annoying list
[pic credit: Popbytes]
I couldn't stop laughing when I caught this list waiting on line at the grocery store today. Star Magazine put together a "most annoying list" and I agree with their picks except for Janet's. If you got it flaunt it is my policy! [list credit: Star]

Most Annoying Wannabe: Kevin Federline
K-Fed has long boasted that he'd silence haters once he released his debut rap CD. Well, in 2006 it arrived, and the only silence was from crowds at K-Fed's half-empty concerts! Apparently siring kids and throwing away his ex's money are his only talents. Good luck without Brit!

Most Annoying Talk-Show Host: Tyra Banks
Dressing up like an obese woman? Pretending to be homeless? These might seem like interesting experiments if they didn't always scream, "Look at me!" Sorry, Tyra you're not Oprah. Stick to America's Next Top Model!

Most Annoying Cleavage: Janet Jackson
It's even worse than 2004's nip slip! This year Janet's assortment of literally over-the-top boob-boosting outfits shoved those things in our face! You may be proud of your new body, Janet, but you're making us miss the baggy sweats that hid your extra pounds — and your chest!
Janet & Tyra
Most Annoying Crybaby On The View: Elisabeth Hasselbeck
If Joy Behar can make you break down like that, you need help!

Most Annoying Cat Fight: Clay Aiken vs. Kelly Ripa
We don't know where either of your hands have been — and we don't care!

Most Annoying Anorexic Nanny Attack: Sara Evans
We liked your dancing, Sara, but did you have to drag your nanny into your divorce?

Most Annoying Religion: Scientology
Sorry, Kabbalah, you put up a good fight.

Most Annoying TomKat Wedding Guest: Brooke Shields
Come on, Brooke! After Tom said that stuff, how could you fly to Italy for his wedding?

A Day in the life of Britney Spears

"Britney Spears continues to celebrate her single status by getting some new ink at an L.A. tattoo parlor on Tuesday. With sister Jamie Lynn along for the trip, the singer – who already has several tattoos (including matching dice she and ex Kevin Federline got together) – had a star etched on her hand." {Source} Aww and she bought along her kid sister Jaime Lynn who looks so thrilled to be there. Watch the video of the Spears sisters getting some tattoos [here] "Spears, 25, already has a collection of tats which includes a fairy on her back, a pair of pink dice on her left forearm (to match the blue dice her ex Kevin Federline has on his right forearm), a Hebrew tattoo on the back of her neck, a butterfly and a vine winding down her right foot, and a Japanese symbol on her bikini line." {Source} View Britney's tato [here]

Bow Wow's "Prince of Fame" album release party at Dirty Disco
Omarion, Maroon 5's front man Adam Levine, Busta Rhymes and Chris Brown were the celebrities that dropped by NYC's Dirty Disco to support Bow Wow's album release party last night.

Chris Brown, Bow Wow and Omarion--young hip-hop & R&B generation. yes indeed!
Sister 2 Sister magazine founder/editor Jaime Foster Brown looks a little too happy in their company./Meanwhile the chick to the left went the groupie look sans bra.

Best friends Omarion and Bow Wow. These two need to record an entire record together. It'll be HOT! Speaking of which wouldn't it be real hot if Omarion and Ciara did a song/music video together. I know they'll kill it with their dance moves!
Okay why on Earth does Spliff look drunk in each and every picture he takes?!?! I mean damn!
And in related news I couldn't believe Bow Wow's running a celebrity look-a-like contest on his myspace page. "In celebration of the release of his third solo album, The Price Of Fame, Bow Wow and Photobucket.com are giving fans a chance to win an autographed copy of the CD via a celebrity look-a-like contest. To be part of the contest, participants will have to send a photo and the name of the celebrity they look like to bowwowphotos@gmail.com.
The best entries will be featured on
Bow Wow's MySpace page using a slideshow courtesy of Photobucket. Two winners will be picked and they will receive an autographed copy of The Price of Fame. The contest will run until January 13. The Price of Fame, which hits stores today (December 19), features appearances from Chris Brown, Jermaine Dupri, Young Capone and Johnta Austin, among others." {Source}

Eddie Murphy's stepfather taught him how to box

Eddie Murphy credits his stepfather with teaching him how to box. "EDDIE MURPHY's stepfather turned the family basement into a makeshift boxing ring so he could discipline his teenage kids. The SHREK star credits VERNON LYNCH with teaching him discipline - and the funnyman always accepted his fate when he was told to put the gloves on. He says, "My stepdad boxed so I grew up around the gym. "There might have been some disciplining with the gloves on... My father was like, 'You did what? Well, go in the house and put the gloves on.' "When you get too big the get a whipping - when you get 16, 17 and you can't get a regular whipping no more - you gotta go put the gloves on." {Source}

Sneak preview of "Ocean's Thirteen"

Premiere magazine debuts stills from the highly anticipated "Ocean's Thirteen" film starring the ensemble cast of Brad Pitt, George Clooney, Don Cheadle, Casey Affleck, Matt Damon, Andy Garicia and Bernie Mac. I love when these guys do interviews---they make it entertaining to watch. Can't wait to see this movie when it hits theaters June 8th, 2007.

“We got away from the reality and that disappointed me,” Bernie Mac says. “But this one is what Ocean’s Twelve should have been.” The original eleven return to Vegas, and theri former enemy Terrry Benedict (Andy Garcia) having butted heads with badass mogul Willie Banks (Al Pacino), comes to them for help. The crew must engineer a nine-minute period during which every gambler will win at Banks’s casino, and the plan hinges on Banks’s right-hand lady. While Thirteen explains the demise of Danny’s relationship with his wife Tess, the leader of the pack still managed to get his hands on some booty. “George kept grabbing my ass [on the set],” Mac says. “There are two things that you dont’ do to a black man: one, talk about his mama; two, grab his ass. Please tell George that.”

"December 20, 2006 -- IF you thought Nas sounded under the influence on his chart-topping records, you were right. The rap legend - who celebrated the re lease of his new CD, "Hip Hop Is Dead," at a Hennessy Paradis dinner at Gin Lane - told guests including Kelis, Mark Wahlberg and Miki Howard he was flying high during many of his early re cording sessions. The Game: "Being on the bus is like being in a prision on wheels."

The Game says tour life leaves him feeling insane. Hopping from city to city on a daily basis can be hard no doubt about that. "Rapper THE GAME finds it difficult to contain his anger when on tour, because being on the road is too 'claustrophobic' for him. The Game - real name JAYCEON TAYLOR - admits he sometimes physically assaults member of his entourage as a result. He tells MTV.com, "Being on the bus is like being in a prison on wheels, man. "It's nothing like being at home. You could be on here for 24 hours, confined in this little space and you start getting claustrophobic and when I start getting mad I just start pulling people out of their bunk and kicking them in the face and s**t. "Life on the road, you got to be ready for it, and a lot of people don't know that. They think that being a rapper all you got to do is write a 16 (bar sequence), write a hook and then you in the video - you get the chains, you get the girls. "But it ain't like that, it's a lot of hard work." {Source} And in related news The Game tells it as it is about "Fergalicious", "I just heard somebody on the radio trying to redo (JJ Fad's) “Supersonic,” I don't mean to diss Fergie, but it sounded ridiculous." Rapper The Game isn't a fan of Fergie's hit “Fergalicious.” The Game is rumored to be dating Samantha Mumba.

New Music from Whitney Houston

Panache Report has the exclusive scoop behind new music from Whitney Houston. "Actor/writer Tyler Perry has landed a coup for the soundtrack of his new movie “Daddy’s Little Girls,” the first song recorded by Whitney Houston, her mother Cissy and aunt Dionne Warwick. The Houston family came together to record the tune “Family First,” for Perry's new film. The recording marks Whitney's first official release since her drug abuse battle earlier this year (06)." Eminem's Divorce FINALIZED

Eminem's divorce from Kim is over and done with. Damn Em and Kim are like the white verison of Bobby & Whitney---that love and hate thing they got going on! Anyhow hopefully everything turns out for the best the second time around for these two. "Eminem and Kimberley Mathers are divorced – again, according to the Detroit Free Press. The couple, who have been married to each other twice, reached an out-of-court settlement during a hearing at Macomb County Circuit Court on Tuesday. The pair agreed to share custody of their daughter, Hailie Jade Scott, who turns 11 on Christmas Day, the newspaper reports. It's not clear if Kim was granted the financial support and attorney fees she'd been seeking from the rapper, whose real name is Marshall Bruce Mathers III. The couple "conducted themselves with dignity and respect," Chief Judge Antonio P. Viviano told Free Press. Eminem declined to comment after the hearing. Eminem, 34, and Kim, 31, were married on Jan. 14 for the second time. Less than three months later, Eminem filed for divorce. Their first marriage lasted from 1999 to 2001. In addition to Hailie Jade, the couple adopted Kim's niece Alaina, 12. Kim also has a daughter, Whitney from a previous relationship. " {Source} I think Em took this split kind of hard but that's just my opinion.

Usher in the studio

This picture of Usher was taken at his home studio in Atlanta where he's hard at work recording his follow-up to his diamond-selling, Confessions. Usher is working with Jermaine Dupri and has said he would like to work with Robin Thicke. This would not be the first time Usher and Robin worked together in the studio. Robin Thicke co-wrote "Dot Com" a slow ode to Internet loving. Usher is also working with Janet's music producer Flye Time producers Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis, Swizz Beats, Ryan Leslie, Ne-Yo, Dre & Vidal, and Amerie's former hit-men Rich Harrison. The Grammy-Award winning singer/record label CEO also said Jay-Z will appear on his record as well. Catch Usher on Jay-Z's "Kingdom Come" track, "Anything" featuring Pharrell Williams. Usher has A LOT of material to sing about from his run on Broadway to his rumored love affair with his first love Karen Verneen, supermodel Naomi Campbell and stylist Tameka Foster Glover to his efforts helping the victims of Hurricane Katrina. 2007 is looking to be a good year for R&B. It's about time!

Out & About: Christina Milian and Dre

Christina Milan and her boyfriend Dre of music producing duo Cool & Dre were spotted recently in Miami celebrating his birthday. The pair also went out to enjoy a basketball game.

Hope this relationship lasts before she comes out with an another album. They were like the hot Latin version of Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith. I'm saying this on based on the height difference that Christina and Dre seems to share with Will & Jada. [pic credit: Juicy-News]

STOP THE DAMN MADNESS!!!

Ever look at a picture and say to yourself, stop the damn madness?! Well I found myself saying simply that when I came across this picture of Ice T's wifey Coco with her '@ss' out on the cover of "Smooth" magazine. yeah it's one thing to flaunt a body but I do mean this in a serious serious way---STOP THE DAMN MADNESS!!!
Well since CoCo is constantly photographed half naked on the runaway or in too-tight outfits my assumption would be Ice T likes his wifey that way...I hope.
To be fair can ya'll guess the which body part of Coco's real or fake?

Out & About: Gwen Stefani with her son, Kingston

Gwen and her son, Kingston--what a stylish pair, huh?

Gwen Stefani was spotted with her adorable son, Kingston, shopping. I've been bumping her album, The Sweet Escape, much to the chagrin of my sister. Anyhow I enjoy "Orange County Girl", "Yummy," and "4 o'clock in the morning" a whole lot....to alleviate my extreme, intense road rage. You do not want to give you a ride because I'm going to curse out everybody on the road, lol!

Allen Iverson Is A Denver Nugget?!?!

Yes I know I am shocked by this too. I thought Allen is a ride or die Philly baller...well you and I were both wrong about that. Paper is paper, right? "The Denver Nuggets have reached an agreement in principle with the Philadelphia 76ers to acquire Allen Iverson, according to NBA front-office sources.The trade, pending league approval, some two weeks after Iverson demanded a trade in Philly, would send Andre Miller, Joe Smith and two 2007 first-round picks to the Sixers for Iverson and perhaps another minimum-salaried player or two. It was expected to be completed later Tuesday barring any snags.The Sixers had been hoping to take back only expiring contracts in any Iverson deal, unless they were receiving a top-flight young player like Minnesota's Randy Foye or Shaun Livingston of the Los Angeles Clippers." Beyonce does "Good Morning America" and premieres "Listen"

Beyonce work two outfits to TRL. A short green number and a red mini. Are these House of Dereon designs? If so Tina Knowles step up HOD's dress game.
Beyonce does TRL Beyonce arrives at TRL
Beyonce premiered an alternative verison to "Listen" on TRL this afternoon. On the show, B revealed she has finally gained back the 20 lbs she worked so hard to lose for what she considers her debut "as an actress." She proclaimed, "To gain 20 lbs? It was like a dream come true!"
I like this version of "Listen" much better. Is this the video she's paying for out of her own pocket? If so she should do this more, this video is way better than the original. Watch the orginial music video to "Listen" [here]

Beyoncé turns heads during her Tuesday appearance on Good Morning America. "This was a big deal for me," the Golden Globe nominee told Diane Sawyer about starring in Dreamgirls. "This was my first dramatic role. I was able to really challenge myself. I knew I worked hard for it." {Source}

Sneak preview of "The Third"

"The Third" of the Shrek movie franchise stars Antonio Banderas, Cameron Diaz, Eddie Murphy, Julie Andrews and Mike Myers. Justin Timberlake is rumored to be in the film as well. I saw the second one with my little brother and I couldn't stop laughing at the antics of Puss 'N Boots. "The Third" hits theatres May 18th!

Synopsis: When Shrek married Fiona, the last thing he had in mind was becoming the next King. But when Shrek's father-in-law, King Harold, suddenly croaks, that is exactly what he faces. Unless Shrek (with the help of his trusted companions Donkey and Puss In Boots) can find a suitable King for Far Far Away, the ogre could be stuck with the job. The most promising candidate, Fiona's cousin Artie, an underachieving Medieval high school slacker, proves to be more of a challenge than they bargained for. {Source}

Ruben wants YOU to lose weight

American Idol winner Ruben wants the state of Alabama to lose weight with him. "The scales of "American Idol" may have tipped in Ruben Studdard's favor in 2003, but there are other scales he would like to tip a bit less. After shedding almost 100 pounds, the Birmingham native and "American Idol" winner says he wants to help other residents of Alabama to lose weight. He's asking the 25 percent of the state's residents who are obese to lose 10 pounds in eight weeks — a total of 10 million pounds. Since committing to a weight-loss program this summer, Studdard has lost nearly 100 pounds, started eating healthier and begun exercising, according to a news release announcing the program. "I'm not where I want to be, but I'm on the right track, and I'm excited about encouraging other Alabamians to begin their own weight-loss journeys," said the 28-year-old singer, whose third album, "The Return," was released in October by J Records. Studdard told The Associated Press in a recent interview that he wanted to get in shape "because I have a family history of diabetes and high blood pressure and things of that nature." "I felt like it was necessary for me to combat those issues at a young age before it became a bigger issue. I went to this place called Duke Diet & Fitness Center for a month and learned how to change my eating habits." Scale Back Alabama, an eight-week weight-loss campaign, kicks off Jan. 4 with an event featuring Studdard. The campaign is being jointly sponsored by Alabama's hospitals, the Alabama Department of Public Health and Barber Diaries." {Source}

Met Jazmine Sullivan

"[Clives]...Davis recently signed Philly-bred songstress Jazmine Sullivan to his J Records division. The 20-year-old singer, who possesses a smoky, deep alto voice and an innate ability to perform staggering vocal acrobatics, was previously signed to Jive Records but her debut album never materialized. (I remember when she was a 14-year-old aspiring gospel star; wowing churches in Washington, DC and Baltimore, Md. with her dead-on impersonation of gospel wonder Kim Burrell.) Sullivan has previously recorded backing vocals for Fantasia and Kindred The Family Soul and collaborated with artists like Christina Milian and Missy Elliott. She even recorded a version of the song "Resentment" that was re-recorded by Beyonce Knowles for her 'B'Day' CD. Sullivan is rumored to be preparing to release her debut solo offering sometime next year. "{source} 2007 is going to be the return of good R&B music!

Truth or Rumor: Cassie is leaving Bad Boy
Cassie may leaved Bad Boy Records. She's supposedly looking for the same treatment Def Jam gave Rihanna and LaFace gave Ciara according to Mediatakeout.com. Well I beg to differ Diddy's been on his grind promoting Cassie more than Yung Joc and Danity Kane put together. "A decade ago, Diddy's Bad Boy Records was one of the top labels in the music industry. In the years since, most of its top artists, including Faith Evans and Mary J Blige, have all decided to go to other labels. Now MediaTakeOut.com has learned that Cassie, Bad Boy's number one artist, is looking to jump ship.MediaTakeOut.com spoke exclusively with a Bad Boy insider who claims that Cassie and her manager Ryan Leslie are trying desperately to be released from Bad Boy Records. According to the source, Cassie's team feels that Bad Boy hasn't put enough of an effort in marketing the teen singer. The insider explains, "when you look at what Def Jam did for Rihanna, or what LaFace is doing for Ciara, you can kind of understand where she's coming from." But there may be more to the story than meets the eye. MediaTakeOut.com spoke with another insider who claims that Cassie has personal reasons for wanting to leave Diddy's camp. And those reasons, according to the source, have Cassie's management exploring the idea of filing a lawsuit against Bad Boy. While the source refused to give specific details about what occurred, the source did tell us that "there was some harassment." Right now it's also not clear what form of harrassment Cassie may have suffered, nor whether the "harassment" involved Diddy personally. Either way, it looks like Cassie is ready to move on with her life. In a blog that the teenage beauty uses to update her fans, she recently posted the following entry: "I've had the ride of my life, all for it to result in opening up my eyes wider than I had them before. Really digging in and seeing what makes people move, what makes them react to other people. I'M BACK ON THE INTERNET. Right where I started, to vent and share the good and bad experiences to you, as I start over. You bought my album and supported me all of the way, I owe it to you. Here's to Old ... New Beginnings."' {Source} Truth or rumor? Only time will tell about Cassie leaving Bad Boy.

Jim Jones's XMas e-card for the fans (subtle diss to Jay-Z)
Another Hip-Hop beef is taken to a whole another level. When I saw this over at Vibe Confidential. It took me a minute to realize how messed up this e-card made by Jim Jones really is then I couldn't stop laughing. Jay-Z doesn't even have to answer to this but he can put this e-card on wax. I guess this is Jim's answer to Jay-Z's diss song, "Brooklyn High?!?" Borrowing a line from J's girl Bee, I gotta say to this funny e-card, "Come harder this won't be easy!" "Nothing says "Season's Greetings" like a Jim Jones dis to Jay-Z. Peep the Christmas e-card that Jim Jones sent out to his fans." {spotted @ Vibe Confidential} Uh oh let the drama begin!
Damn Jim you made J Santa's elf!? That's real low!

On a Newsstand by you...The Game does "Vibe"

The Game sat down for an interview with Vibe magazine to talk about his old 'hood, his son and his favorite doughnut shop. [pic credit: Hurricane Game.us]
[interview credit: Vibe]
"The MC on everything from Chuck Taylor to LeBron James to the Bloods and the Crips to N.W.A. to the Black Wall Street. The final installment of a three-part series.

From where in your fam do you get your light eyes?

Game: No one. There’s no one but me. I’m funny like that. Kinda hoped my son would come out with the light eyes but he didn’t. He came out with the chocolate browns.

Do you know the story of the basketball legend Chuck Taylor, who they named the sneaker after?

Game: Um, I know he was aiight, but LeBron would’ve kicked his ass. That was back in the day when you could shoot with two hands, and probably get away with traveling. That day is gone. Appreciate his shoe, man. It’s a great shoe.

His story is a classic tale of exploitation. He was an alcoholic and signed away the rights to use his name on the shoe for money to go out drinking.

Game: What an idiot. Signed away the license like that? Fucking idiot. Maybe he needed an Olde English instead of that Heine he was drinking. The reference to Chuck Taylor is dope but my moniker Chuck Taylor is not from the man or the shoe. I had a brother Charles Taylor who's dead now. He was [called] Chuck and it just comes in as a coincidence that it aligns with the history of the shoe and the man.

Tell me a story about an experience that you had at the Compton Swap Meet.

Game: An experience I had at the Compton Swap meet was...walking through the Compton Swap Meet—which was heavily Crip-, ese-, and Blood-infested—and seeing some Crips I really didn't get along with. I was about 15. They were about seven, eight deep and I was by myself. I was like, Fuck, I got these red Chucks on, red strings. It’s not my fucking day. I’m walking through and a police officer walks up to me and says, “Don’t worry, Blood, I got your back.” I looked at him, like, Woah, police officers gangbang too! And that was the craziest realization. He watched over the situation, and I kept my hard look on, and it turned out those Crips were bluffing that day. I walked away unscathed. But I can’t say the same thing about the next time I seen those guys, because I ended up getting my ass whooped. You win some, you lose some. That’s how it works in the ’hood.

What's your favorite doughnut shop in Los Angeles?

Game: Randy’s.

The one down on La Cienega Boulevard by LAX?

Game: Yeah, it's that one. It’s got that big fucking donut, like thirty feet tall, on top of the shop. They got the best fucking doughnuts, man. When Krispy Kreme came out they fucked up the doughnut game. They started fucking over everybody, because they took a little bit more pride—the [baking] process is slower. But you go to Randy’s and you get that sloppy glaze. Man, there’s so much glaze on there your teeth should fall out after the last bite. Krispy Kreme and Randy’s. If I want to go mainstream, I go to Krispy Kreme, but when I want to keep it gutter I go with Randy. Randy’s gives you the milk in the Styrofoam [cup], and you can pick your milk. He got blue top, red top, 2 percent, all that, purple top—he’s even got skim milk. Randy’s got it all!

What’s it like having a son who's crying one moment and laughing the next?

Game: I know him so well. When he cries, he’s not a crybaby, he’s not crying because his tongue is cut. He’s a tough kid. He’s crying because people saw him fall, and he's embarrassed. But when I see him cry I want to get to the bottom of the situation and diffuse it and come up with a solution. To see your kid cry hurts you deep in your soul. That’s your little you. That’s my little mini-me running around. So to see him cry is the worst feeling. I want to solve the problem before too many tears drop. And he knows that. If I’m around or his mother’s around, he knows we’re there for him.

Why did you name your son after a neighborhood in New York?

Game: Because it’s one of the more prominent neighborhoods in America, and has been for a long time. I wanted my son to have a strong name, so I named him Harlem—first name. Middle name? Caron, after the Muslim Bible, although I’m not Muslim so I didn’t make a mockery out of that so I spelled it differently. And my last name is his last name. So he’s got a strong name, but it’s a cool name for a kid.

What appealed to you more about N.W.A than say, a group like Public Enemy or Eric B. & Rakim?

Game: N.W.A did not give a fuck at all about anything. Those are the guys who said, “Fuck the police.” Who would say that?! I want to know who thought it up. I bet it was Eazy. But “fuck the police”? Who has the balls to say that? A cop walks up to you. Say, “Fuck you,” to him. Try that. That’s what Eazy was saying, and had the whole world saying.

And that was the trigger for you to speak your mind—no filter—in your lyrics.

Game: That’s where I come from. I come from that N.W.A melting pot. And even worse than N.W.A, who says that they’re a “cop killer”? Ice-T. How much balls did that take? Another MC from the East Coast who gravitated to the West Coast and often gets an honorable mention, but he should be classified as a legend. A legend, that’s what Ice-T is. Made “Cop Killer” [as a member of heavy metal band Body Count] and “Colors.” Ice-T is definitely a role model. He is to me what LL Cool J is to 50 Cent. 50’s got LL, and I’ve got Ice-T.

Have you had personal contact with Ice-T?

Game: Yeah. Dope guy, very smart. I respect him and what he’s done musically, and what he’s bestowed on me in just a few short meetings that we had.

I’m 35 years old. I’m an old man in the context of hip hop. So when you make comparisons between yourself and Ice Cube, Ice-T, Eazy-E, I remember when those artists first came out. So why should I listen to your music when I heard it the first time?

Game: Because I don’t sound shit like them. I’m a whole new MC. And another thing is, I’m not begging you, I’m not begging anybody, to listen to my music. If you don’t like my music, just go buy what you like and support the movement of hip hop—of any music. I’m a musician. I’m not just a hip hop artist. I think I’m more than that. Especially since I’m an inspiration to some people. I know this because people tell me this. So there’s a lot more to it than just being a hip hop artist. I’m a musician. People love and respect me. I’m not begging you to buy my album. You can leave that shit on the shelf because the guy behind you is going to come pick it up.

But this year there’s been a lot of product left on the shelf. T.I. is the only artist who’s gone platinum.

Game: I won’t have that problem. I’ll be platinum in a week and a half.

Do you remember the first time you rapped into a microphone?

Game: I was garbage. Awful. I really was garbage. But I didn’t give up, and garbage turned into classic material.

That must have been an incremental process.

Game: I’m a fast learner. I’m a trial-and-error type of guy. I did it one way, it was wrong, I did it another way and there it was. The first day I rapped into a mic and was garbage was the same day I recorded one of the dopest songs that got me signed.

Which song was that?

Game: “The Promised Land.” That was the song that Dre heard and got me signed to Aftermath.

How does that song go?

Game: I don’t remember the lyrics no more. Look at all the shit I’ve recorded since then.

As someone who so fiercely represents for Compton, in your opinion why is it that the human animal is so territorial?

Game: I don’t know, man. I think that might be a question for Jesus or God. I don’t know how we work, and definitely can’t make a broad analysis of humans. But the reason I might seem like an animal is because…I might share that territorial animal state with that of a bear or a lion is because I worked hard for what’s mines and I want to keep it, and anyone too far in my area is trying to steal my thoughts or my plan or wearing out their welcome. When a bear finds a cave and settles and makes it cozy for the winter, he doesn’t want no goddamn rabbit jumping in his fucking cave. It’s just like that. My home is my home and my company is my company and I take a lot of pride in that and want it to stay that way. Keep elevating and evolving until Black Wall Street becomes one of the most potent hip hop labels in the world.

Is Glasses Malone still down with Black Wall Street?

Game: No.

After this interview you’re going to film your top 25 videos for BET. Did you pick all West Coast videos?

Game: Yep.

How deep did you go?

Game: I went real deep. Can you remember DRS, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, who had “Gangsta Lean”? I went Above The Law’s “Black Superman.” I have Tha Dogg Pound’s “New York, New York,” I got Ice Cube’s “Today Was a Good Day,” and I got Dr. Dre and Snoop’s “Deep Cover.” I got Tupac’s “I Ain't Mad At Ya.”

Let’s end with this: you’ve gone from being considered expendable by society—which is to say, growing up without a father and as a gang member in Compton—to being exploitable as a commodity, meaning there are corporations and a lot of people who stand to make money off of you as a successful rapper. Which of those two identities feels more difficult, more challenging to live with?

Game: Neither. I live around those. Those things exist outside my house. I didn’t build a house on top of those things. I didn’t build a house under those things. I built a house separate from those things, and I leave them in the backyard. And rarely do I go into the backyard to water. So, they’re weeds, and I’ll just let them die. Inside I exist separate from either of those perceived identities that have been placed upon me."

Alicia Keys applauds Beyonce's musical "Dreamgirls"

Good to see black folks supporting each other. Alicia Keys recently admitted to the press that her friendship goes back to when she and Beyonce were signed onto Columbia Records.I'm a fan of both songbirds's music since day one. My favorite Beyonce song is "Be With You" and my favorite Alicia song is "When You Really Love Somebody." "ALICIA KEYS has publicly applauded old pal BEYONCE KNOWLES for her Golden Globe Best Actress nomination - because she feels the singer/actress could herald a new era of 'triple-threat' stars. Alicia Keys at 'The Black Ball' at the Hammerstein Ballroom. New York City, USA - 09.11.06 Keys, who is embarking on her own movie career, admits she grew up idolising stars who had singing, theatrical and movie careers. She says, "I can't wait to see Beyonce in DREAMGIRLS. From the beginning of time, many of the great artists were always triple threats. They all acted, sang and danced, they did it all. "I think, going back in that direction now, and to be able to encompass so many styles, and do it with so much class, is fantastic. "I've known Beyonce for a while. We did meet each other when we were on Columbia (record label), where they did retreats and they would show the different artists who were coming out. "We got a chance to hang out then. I think we feel the same way about being able to express ourselves. She's a great lady." {Source} Two more promotional pictures from Alicia's upcoming film, 'Smokin Aces' has resurfaced. Ciara to be a Victoria's Secret model?

Ciara has her eyes set on modelling for Victoria's Secret. Maybe she'll attract a more funky walk for next year's show. I just couldn't bring myself to watch this year. No Heidi. No Tyra. No Naomi. No catfights?! WTF?! Ciara as a VS model might be the next big thing for the famous lingerie company. "R+B sensation CIARA has big plans to become a model for lingerie firm Victoria's Secret after she was left stunned by the company's annual winter fashion show on TV. Ciara at Young Collector's Council Ball sponsored by Giorgio Armani at the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum. New York City, USA - 14.12.06 The GOODIES singer admits she has always dreamed of becoming a model and may put her singing career on hold to hit the catwalk.
She says, "(The Victoria's Secret show) reminded me how much of a model I want to be. I look forward to the day I can walk out on the runway with a really dope outfit and not be an artist." {Source}
And in related news Ciara was spotted at the Y100 Jingle Ball.

Lil' Wayne cancels his Philly show over 'set up' fears

Haters always gotta break up a good thing going. Well Weezy tried to do a show at Philly and his haters prevented him from doing so. Damn. "Rapper LIL' WAYNE scrapped a concert in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania recently because he feared for his safety when security at the venue insisted he give up his guns. LIL' WAYNE The tough-talking rap star, real name DWAYNE CARTER, told venue security he had a permit to carry guns for protection and feared they were setting him up for a shoot-out with a longstanding rival when they insisted he left his weapons with them. He tells Complex magazine, "I know the n**ga I'm beefing with is out there, so when security at the show told me, 'We gonna search y'all,' it was like, 'Nah, we ain't goin' in there. That's a set up.' "(We said) 'Y'all can have your money back, and call me phony or whatever. I ain't scared, I'm saving my life.'"{Source} Weezy don't even sweat the haters!

Kelis and Nas on the secret to their marriage
Hip-Hop's royal couple
Nasir Jones and Kelis Rogers-Jones
I spotted this over at my good friend Str8's blog, Straight Outta NYC. Kelis and Nas sat down with NY Magazine to discuss the secret behind their marriage--friendship. I remember reading in an old issue of the now defunct-Suede Magazine about how Nas and Kelis met. Nas fell in love with Kelis on first sight. Awww. I think their relationship is the real deal and his relationship with Carmen Bryan was a puppy love affair that produced their daugther Destiny Naije Jones. If I saw Nas or Kelis I'll let them know their marriage is a good look for Black Love. With all these crazy celebrities splitting and divorcing it's freshing to see Nas and Kelis keeping it real with each other. "C ’mon over here, sugarplum,” says Kelis. Her blonde hair swoops up like meringue. She crooks her finger for her husband, Nas, to join us. The two hip-hop stars grew up here—she in Harlem, he in Crown Heights and Queensbridge. Nas, the hyperliterate rap firebrand, releases Hip Hop Is Dead this week; Kelis, an R&B innovator, is the 21st century’s female Prince. And at this moment, in New York, the pair are in that sweet spot where a famous couple is also a kind of royalty—turning the city into their own personal romantic backdrop. They’re not the first, of course: We’ve always had our high-profile duos, from Arthur and Marilyn to Uma and Ethan (hey, nobody said love had to last to make an impression) to Keith and Michelle. “People come up and they’re like, ‘We’re so happy you guys are together!’ We get that all the time. Right?” asks Kelis. “It’s like one family,” Nas whispers in agreement. “We just represent the relationship.” As for their own icons for famous love, Kelis picks Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell. “Any couple that can do this and maintain and be together forever is fantastic.” Ossie Davis and Ruby Dee, too. “A brilliant couple,” says Nas. “Both in the same business. Ossie Davis did an incredible eulogy at Malcolm X’s funeral. They contributed so much—and they stayed together till they passed.”
“For us, it was friends first,” says Kelis. “If you’re not friends first, you end up hating each other.” And they lock gazes and burst out laughing.
" {Source} Can ya'll imagine their children with her fashion sense and his laid back swagger?? Their kids will be off the chain!

Kim Fields on her first pregnancy

If ya'll have been reading you know I broke the news of Facts of Life's star Kim Kields being pregnant. Kim Fields opens up to People Magazine as her first pregnancy. "The Facts of Life star Kim Fields is expecting her first child in May with boyfriend Christopher Morgan, and she tells PEOPLE pregnancy is "wonderful." "It is amazing, surreal," says Fields, 37. "For as maternal as I've felt all my life, it still has the 'Wow!' factor." Fields and Morgan, 30, a Broadway actor, have been together "a couple of years" and decided this summer to have a child. "We were on the subway one day and Chris said, 'I'm ready to start our family,' " Fields says. "It was beautiful and I started to weep." Though they don't know the baby's sex, they've already picked names: "If she's a girl, Aria Grace, and if he's a boy, Sebastian Alexander." Morgan, she says, is "a Southern guy and very much the gentleman, an old soul. Fantastically handsome and stunningly built. At some point he'll be in your Sexiest Man Alive issue." Professionally, Fields has another man in her life: Grammy-nominated jazz saxophonist Najee. She's produced and directed a documentary about him, Najee: Sax in South Africa, set to air Christmas Eve on BETJ at 8 p.m. ET. "I've been a fan and a friend of Najee's for years," she says. "He puts on great, great shows. Everybody's always clapping and tapping their feet and moving around, so everybody's having a ball." {Source} Congrats to the happy couple!

Omarion's recent photoshoot

Omarion's recent photoshoot with Nick Saglimbeni is hot!
For all you O fans out there, Omarion will appear on MTV's Total Request Live this Wednesday. No doubt to hype his second album, '21' and his hot single, 'Icebox.'
Check out Omarion with his sister and his grandmother...aww! Anyhow that picture looks real suspect. At first glance it's a cute picture then at second glance it looks like two different pictures put together. I love this guy's swagger though.

Rihanna back in the day was a promiscuous boy-magnet
Mediatakeout.com has shed some light on Rihanna before she became famous. If you're easily offended do not read this. All I'm doing is quoting my source Mediatakeout.com. "Rihanna has quickly developed into one of R&B's biggest stars. She has a refreshing mix of innocence and sex appeal that most people find alluring. But MediaTakeOut.com has learned that the innocence part may just be an act.In an exclusive interview, MediaTakeOut.com spoke with one of Rihanna's childhood friends who opened up about the teen's wild past. Our source, who grew up with Rihanna in Barbados, claims that the teenage Rihanna was a regular at the local nightclubs. The tipster tells, "she was in the club underage, trying to get with older guys ... [but] it hardly ever worked because she had horrible skin." And Rihanna apparently wouldn't let school get in the way of all her partying. According to our source, the teenage sensation skipped school so frequently that she was forced to repeat both the 8th and 9th grades. But the most startling revelation that the pal told MediaTakeOut.com was that Rihanna had a reputation for sleeping with other women's boyfriends. The friend tells, "A lot of people hated and despised Rihanna. In 2004 she got into a fight at Janine [LAST NAME WITHHELD]'s house because they found out Rihanna slept with her boyfriend." And Rihanna's apparent habit for stealing boyfriends may have destroyed one of her closest friendships. The friend explains, "Rihanna had a best friend named Kelenna [LAST NAME WITHHELD]. Rihanna deceived her friend by having sex with Kelenna's boyfriend named 'Ghetto'. Bear in mind [that] Rihanna was barely even 16. This is why to this day, Rihanna and Kelenna do not speak." This isn't the first time that we've heard about Rihanna's boyfriend-stealing ways. Earlier this year, MediaTakeOut.com reported that Beyonce was worried that Rihanna was getting uncomfortably close to Jay Z. And according to Rihanna's former pal, Beyonce has a lot to worry about. The friend explains, "I believe to this day that [Rihanna] forced herself on Jay Z because she is extremely promiscuous ... Old habits never die." {Source} If this story is true then the rumors of Rihanna trying to get with Jay-Z may be true as well. Oh these rumors---you gotta love to hate them!

Britney Spears gets booed at!
Britney Spears gets booed alongside her kid sister, Jaime Lynn-Spears at the Lakers game according to TMZ. "How the tide has turned – now it's Britney who's getting booed and K-Fed, or something like him, eliciting cheers.The exhibitionist pop star was among the fans at last night's Lakers-Wizards game at L.A.'s Staples Center, attending with sister Jamie Lynn. When Brit's face popped up on the Jumbotron, according to a TMZ spy in attendance, the entire crowd booed loudly, making Britney so mad that she left even before halftime. To add injury to insult, the image of a K-Fed-alike graced the Jumbotron shortly thereafter, and the crowd actually cheered. Fellow celeb-fans Chris Tucker, Ellen Pompeo, Andy Garcia, and, of course, Jack Nicholson, stayed around to watch an overtime thriller, which the Lakers lost." {Source} HA! HA! HA! And in related news check out the black lace number Britney wore to her mother Lynn's birthday bash @ Dominick's in West Hollywood.

Naomi Campbell to air out her drama on "The Oprah Winfrey Show"??!

Naomi is seeking out Oprah's talk show as a medium to air out her drama. Is this a good PR move or a sincere cry for help? "Naomi Campbell has reportedly agreed to appear on Oprah Winfrey's talk show in a bid to show the world she does not deserve a reputation for aggressive behaviour. On Wednesday (13Dec06), the British supermodel was cleared of attacking her former counsellor - but she still faces lawsuits from former employees who allege they were physically abused by her. A friend tells British newspaper The Mail On Sunday, "Naomi and Oprah have been friends for a long time and have been talking for a while about her coming on the show." Former maid Gaby Gibson claims Campbell beat and racially abused her earlier this year (06), while former housekeeper Ana Scolavino alleges she threw a mobile phone at her in January (06). Campbell's former assistant Amanda Brack is also suing the beauty for verbal and physical abuse." {Source} Hopefully Oprah can help out Naomi's behavior problems. Time will only tell.

Melaine "Scary Spice" Brown's mystery boyfriend unveiled!
Melaine Brown's mystery boyfriend has been unveiled by "News of the World", an UK newspaper. "Photographs of EDDIE MURPHY's ex-girlfriend MELANIE BROWN frolicking in Hawaii with her so-called 'mystery man' have been published in British newspaper the News Of The World. The Hollywood star allegedly dumped former SPICE GIRL Brown after being handed another set of snaps last month (NOV06), showing the singer reportedly enjoying an illicit date with the male friend in Los Angeles. The images published in the newspaper yesterday (17DEC06) - showing a scantily-clad Brown and her companion relaxing on the beach - were shot in May (06) - just weeks before Brown started dating Murphy and immediately becoming pregnant. The BEVERLY HILLS COP actor reportedly hired a team of private detectives to follow Brown after becoming convinced she was cheating on him, and he ended their relationship. Brown and Murphy started dating in June (06), but the Hollywood star cut all ties with the former Spice Girl earlier this month (05DEC06) and he's now demanding a DNA test to determine whether he's the father of her unborn baby. An eyewitness of Brown's summer frolics tells the tabloid, "Mel and this fella were all over each other and quite obviously a couple. They couldn't keep their hands off each other." A source close to Murphy adds, "Everyone thought it was suspicious that Mel fell pregnant so quickly after getting together with Eddie. Now he thinks the same. After seeing these photos he's convinced he's not the dad.
"And he won't believe any different until DNA tests are carried out after the baby is born. As far as Eddie's concerned this mystery man had as much chance of fathering the child as he did."
{Source} This Eddie Murphy-Melaine Brown baby daddy story sure gets interesting with each passing day, doesn't it?!? Eddie had Melaine followed to prove he's not her baby daddy. Pictures of her with a mystery guy on the beach resurfaced. Was Melaine two-timing Eddie throughout their short relationship?!? They should just go on Dr. Phil or Maury to get a paternity test!

Taye Diggs's new show "Daybreak" got cancelled and his thoughts of the 'sisters'
Taye with his wife Idina and Salma
Taye Diggs has expressed his thoughts on the 'sisters' according to Panache Report. "Taye Diggs’ TV series “Daybreak,” has been cancelled due to low ratings. One demographic who refused to support this series was African-American women; because Diggs’ girlfriend on the show was non-black. Their lack of support was instrumental in the numbers being down and the show getting the boot. This same scenario was responsible for “Kojak,” starring Ving Rhames getting axed, his love interest was also non-black on the show. Black women are sending Hollywood a powerful message. ‘If you want our support, cast black actresses opposite black men in your shows.’ In Related News: Taye Diggs made the following comments to “Rolling Out,” magazine. Please pardon Taye Diggs if he sounds a little pissed. But honestly, he has every right to be. Here he is, an accomplished thespian with successful stage and screen roles to his credit and a recently cancelled TV series (“Day Break”) which made him the only African American who headed up a prime-time drama on a major network — when less than two minutes into a half-hour interview I have the unmitigated gall to question him about his white wife.“I’m too far along in my life and in my career to really give a question like that any type of dignified answer,” says Diggs, who was raised in black, middle-class Rochester, N.Y., intones. “When I was in high school, maybe. College, maybe. But I’m a grown-ass man and if people have a difficult time dealing with that, then I welcome them to see a movie with Omar Epps or Denzel Washington or some of those other brothers that have chosen to spend the rest of their lives with sisters, as you say. I just don’t have time for it. You can’t make everybody happy. And for the fans that are out there that are into me; they don’t really give a f— what’s going on with my personal life.” {Source} Okkk Taye, I still got love for you! I have no problem with him dating outside his race. More power to him if his relationship is making him happy. That's all that matters, right? I mean I watched his show, Daybreak, and the show wasn't that bad. Taye was like the only African-American actor with a nighttime drama series on a major network. I can see how he's pissed off.

Kelis is Ford's new spokesmodel

Ford Motor Co. has pulled in Grammy nominated hip hop artist Kelis to help spice up the launch of the new Edge crossover vehicle to appeal to the African American market.
The ad campaign, created by the Uniworld Group-Detroit, will kick off at Kelis' Dec. 18 celebrity holiday party at New York's Capitale nightclub and include radio, TV, and print advertising. Ford will give partygoers a glimpse of the campaign. The radio spot features a song that Kelis (pronounced "Kuh-Leese") wrote specifically for the campaign entitled "Push it to the Edge" that will begin airing on Dec. 20. The radio spot features a cameo introduction of Kelis and her song from Ford spokesperson and hip-hop DJ Funkmaster Flex. The spot will run on national syndicated radio shows like The Steve Harvey Morning and The Tom Joyner Morning Show. Kelis is also scheduled to participate in various Edge sweepstakes giveaways on the radio shows beginning in February. The television commercial, entitled "On the Edge," will feature Kelis and the "Push it to the Edge" track. It will begin airing in late December on major network stations throughout the country. The print ad campaign for the Ford Edge Kelis campaign, entitled "Shattered," will run in major urban publications such as Jet, Ebony, Upscale and Sister2Sister magazine...To promote the campaign, Kelis is scheduled to make an appearance at the 2007 Detroit auto show for a media day and the show's Charity Preview on January 12. The Kelis "Push it to the Edge" campaign will also be an integral part of Ford's new urban web site, www.FordUrban.com, that will be launched at the end of December. The site is designed to attract and engage urban buyers with creative video content, third-party reviews, customer discussion rooms and downloadable music, say Ford officials. The web site will begin with a targeted focus toward Edge buyers and eventually extend to the entire Ford brand line up of car, trucks, SUVs and crossovers. Ford Edge banner ads starring Kelis will also be prevalent on major online portals like AOL - Black Voices and Black Planet. The Edge, a critical product to Ford's turnaround plan, started being shipped to dealerships Dec. 7 after a delay due to production issues. {spotted @ ONTD}

And in related news Kelis's song, "Living Proof" will be featured on the soundtrack for the Showtime series, "The L Word." Kelis is also shooting the video for her next single with Cee-Lo.

Knicks and Nuggets FIGHT!
By now ya'll see this clip or heard about this clip. I'm just finding out about this! "After the New York Knicks were getting smacked up on their home floor, they started a fight with the Denver Nuggets last night. The Carmelo Anthony factor ensures this gets out of hand. Watch as Carmelo banks Knicks player Mardy Collins in the jaw and then does a Jim Jones and runs away. Jared Jeffries (Knicks #20) starts chasing Carmelo like a crackhead after his rock was stolen. Carmelo wasn't the only person seen running for cover, Spike Lee and his daughter had to break out from their courtside seats." {spotted @ Bossip} The stuff I miss when I'm reading the latest XXL Hip-Hop Soul magazine!

Can't we all get along at least for the Christmas holiday season?!?! DMAN!

The Game invites 50 Cent on "It's Okay (One Blood) to end their beef

The Game wants to end his beef with 50 Cent on wax. I'm all for these two ending their beef. They are both grown men who shouldn't be beefing in the first place. Glad The Game man up to end this beef. Let's see if 50 Cent would accept this or be a chickenhead. Only time will tell. "THE GAME invited rap rival 50 CENT to help remix his hit IT'S OKAY (ONE BLOOD) in an effort to end their length feud. The California rapper reveals he called 50's manager CHRIS LIGHTY to ask his one-time mentor to collaborate with him in the studio, but the plan was a no-go. The Game says, "I reached out to 50 to see if he was going to be a part of the remix. "Chris Lighty thought I was joking - 50, that's my archnemesis. He ended up saying no, which I expected, but I'm such a funny guy, I thought I'd do it anyway - just to say I did." The Game, real name JAYCEON TAYLOR, he'd like to see an end to rap's "beefs", but he won't play peacemaker. He tells urban magazine Vibe, "I'd really love for hip-hop to be unified again, where there was no beefing with anybody." {Source}

Justin Timberlake last night on "SNL" had me rolling. Press play to watch Justin perform his new single, "Dick in A Box." This man is too funny! Justin's publicists did the damn thing during commerical time. They plugged Justin's upcoming tour and CD in between commerical breaks from "SNL."
Justin Timberlake's Dick in A Box--the Xmas edition

Cameron Diaz introduced her man Justin to perform "My Love."

Justin also sang his latest single, "What Goes Around/What Comes Around." I love that song a lot.

Justin re-visited his infamous Soup Act. This time Justin rep Homelessville

2006 was a good year for Justin!

{shout out and much love to Faded Youth for uploading this video! Justin should release his song "Dick in a Box" my favorite line was when Justin sang this-- "first cut a hole in it. then put your junk in the box. then let her open the box." This song is too funny! I'm here crying!}
Justin Timberlake and his girlfriend Cameron Diaz were spotted at the SNL after party. The couple both rocked a pair of William Rast jeans. [pic credit: World of Justin]

Time Magazine named YOU their Person of the Year

Thanks in large part to the popularity of blogs, MySpace profiles, and YouTube users, Time magazine has named YOU as their person of the year. "Time magazine unveiled its 'Person of the Year' for 2006 on December 16, 2006, as -- You, the creators and consumers of user-generated Internet content like video-file sharing site YouTube and social network MySpace. Time has been naming its person of the year since 1927 and the tradition has become the source of speculation every year, as well as controversy over unpopular choices such as Adolf Hitler in 1938 and Ayatollah Khomeini in 1979." {Source} Okay what a great honor. I like to thank my blogroll from A Hot Mess to Toya's World. All of you anonymous commentors and anyone who's e-mailed me or leave me a MySpace comment. I am so serious about this! I'm mad Time didn't give me the heads-up about this, lol!
