Jessica Simpson to appear on The View as Rosie O' Donnell's co-host
Jessica Simpson will appear on the first episode of The View to star new cohost Rosie O'Donnell, on Sept. 5!!!
Simpson and O'Donnell go way back apparently....
"When Jessica was on The Rosie O'Donnell Show years ago," the source went on to say, "Rosie went backstage afterwards and said, 'You're gonna be a star.' "
Adds the source: "Jessica will never forget her."

Who would have thought Jessica would go on to become such a ditz? Well being a ditz is paying off for her career, isn't it?
Jessica will co-host with rumored beau Dane Cook the Teen Choice Awards next month. Her current single, "A Public Affair" debut on TRL (#6).
