Madonna, who just released her current album "Hard Candy", recently kicked off her promotional blitz as she was seen outside BET's "106 & Park" studios. Prior to that gig, a Dolce & Gabbana-clad Madonna held a private fan-only concert at Hammerstein Ballroom alongside her "4 Minutes" co-star Justin Timberlake.

Raven-Symone, fresh off the release of her R&B-infused self-titled disc, was seen en route to Chelsea Handler's book release party. If you recall, Raven paid a visit to "Chelsea Lately" not too long ago which you can revisit here.

Seal performed at the 50th Grammy celebration tour in Los Angeles. Guests included his wife Heidi Klum and actor Terrence Howard (who can be seen next in the Marvel Comics' action flick,"Iron Man").

CHERISH, CHINGY, LAUREN & MEGAN CAST IN NEW FILM, "CARAMEL"

In a recent interview with BLACKFILM.COM, Melvin James said Lauren London, Chingy, Meagan Good, Cherish, and Teyana Taylor are the lead stars in his new coming-of-age film, "Caramel".

'Caramel' is a story that I wrote. It's about two high school friends that grew up together in Jamaica Estates, Queens. They are best friends, and the coolest in school. It's sort of a love story, a throwback to a film called 'American Graffitti'. It's about teenagers and their cars, and their cliques. It's an all around coming of age story.[BLACKFILM.COM]

According to Melvin, "Caramel" begins production this summer (late June, early July) in New York City and Jamaica Estates, Queens.

MYA PREPARES FOR HER BROADWAY DEBUT

R&B songbird Mya has an on-going video diary series on BROADWAY.COM. The video diaries showcase Mya rehearsing for her upcoming role as Velma Kelly on the Broadway play, "Chicago".

Mya talked briefly about her Broadway experience in this new myspace blog. In the following video, Mya can be seen working with her vocal coach.

IDRIS ELBA ON TYRA BANKS SHOW

Idris Elba paid a visit to the "Tyra Show" last Thursday to promote his new thriller, "Prom Night".

Tyra as always has a way of bringing out the fun side of any individual she interviews. Case in point, Tyra pull out her old prom night photo and digitally placed Idris' face over her unidenitied prom date. HILARIOUS!

Anyhow, "Prom Night" (a remake of a 1980 film) pull in 22.7 million in its opening week according to CNN.COM.

LAUREN LONDON ON HER LATEST FILM SET

Deck out in Uggs and a Juicy Couture sweat pants, Lauren London was seen on the set of her latest film, "I Love You, Beth Cooper".

According to IMDB, the film (co-starring Hayden Panettiere) has a plot taken from the Larry Doyle novel. (I'm loving that Dooney & Bourke bag she has.)

Lauren recently told "Jewel" magazine that she wanted roles that would make her a better actress.

Right now, London is looking at scripts that would make her a better actress, as opposed to making her a bigger celebrity. She'd love to play Lena Horne or Faith Evans or any 'real woman who has a scar on her face and scars on the inside as well. I just want to continue to stretch as an actress,"says London, who has a multi-episode on HBO's Entourage last season and still takes weekly acting classes to hone her craft. [JEWEL]

SIGHTINGS: SELITA, KANYE, FOREST, KEISHA AND LISA RAYE

Selita Ebanks (minus her boyfriend Osi) and Kanye West took in "Murakami" exhibition opening at The Brooklyn Museum. Kanye recently revealed the stage direction of his upcoming "Glow in the Dark" tour which you can check over at MTV NEWS.

Kanye posted up a new blog about why he leaked the behind-the-scenes shots...

I can’t take it anymore. I have 2 show you guys a model of the stage. This is not a regular show. I tell people, hey, this show is gonna be crazy and they say, “I bet it is!”, BUT THEY HAVE NO IDEA! People expect me to come with innovative stuff… I’m sure a lot of people expect some neon, lower east side, post everybody dressing like the 80’s stuff or maybe the light up jacket from the Grammies, perhaps the robot girl and light spectacle they saw on Youtube from the European run. Forest Whitaker and his wife Keisha alongside Lisa Raye and Naomie Harris attended the premiere of "Street Kings" last night at the Grauman's Chinese Theatre in Hollywood. The David Alyer-directed thriller opens nationwide Friday April 11th. Check the trailer for "Street Kings" below:

PHOTOS FROM CIARA'S MAMA I WANT TO SING FILM

MAMA I WANT TO SING WITH CIARA HILL HARPER AND LYNN WHITFIELD

New promotional pictures taken from Ciara's upcoming film, "Mama I Want To Sing" surfaced online via BLACKFILM.COM. The photos features Ciara's co-stars Hill Harper and Lynn Whitfield.

Backstage at the Screamfeast '07, the R&B vocalist spoke about her starring role in the featured film, which also happens to be her second film project. "Mama I Want to Sing" follows the several Broadway plays (re: "Dreamgirls", "Rent", and "Chicago") that was made into a film. Time will only tell if the all-star cast will pull in blockbuster numbers.

Filmed in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, "Mama I Want To Sing", which is based off the 1980's hit off-Broadway play, will be released nationwide this October.

NATURI TO PLAY LIL' KIM

Former 3LW vocalist Naturi Naughton can be seen in a commerical for "The Sunny Side of Truth", which promotes statisics bought from the implications of using tobacco.

In related news, Naturi is set to play Lil' Kim in the upcoming "Notorious" biopic of Christopher Wallace's life. Real Gossip 101 has the hoopla on the former Broadway Hairspray star's new acting gig.

MEET THE BROWNS PREMIERE

Tyler Perry's "Meet the Browns" had its Hollywood premiere last night. Tyler's latest film project has the all-star cast of Angela Bassett, Rick Fox, Lance Gross, Jenifer Lewis, and many others.

The premiere bought out Jill Marie Jones, Eva Marcille, both Vanessa Williams, Kenya Moore, Tasha Smith, Sidra Smith, Taraji P. Henson, Courtney B. Vance, and Sheryl Lee Ralph.

"Meet The Browns" opens nationwide March 21st. Be sure to visit Angie B News to check out the trailer.

The new Tyler Perry film's soundtrack has new music from Kelly Rowland, Musiq Soulchild, Brandy, Debroah Cox, and Jill Scott. The soundtrack will be in stores March 18th.

MOVIE HOOPLA WITH BEYONCE AND FANTASIA

Beyonce Knowles, who in the past made it clear about becoming one of the first American American females to attain all the major show business awards, will serve as an executive producer in the upcoming thriller, "Obsessed". Her father and manager Mathew Knowles also executive produce the film.

Via VARIETY.COM: In "Obsessed," Idris Elba will play an asset manager who has a knockout wife (Knowles) and thriving career until a temp office worker (Ali Larter) begins stalking him.

The good fortune from Fantasia Barrino's successful Broadway run is moving on the big-screen. Oprah Winfrey announced plans of making the scond film adapation of the popular Alice Walker novel, "The Color Purple" with Fantasia as the lead star, Miss Celie.

Fantasia confirm the news to MTV Movies Blog: “Working with someone like Miss Oprah who’s so talented and amazing - It’s a blessing.” The "When I See You" singer also said she'll be focusing on her music career before joining the film full on.

STILL GOING STRONG

Djimon Hounsou's latest film, "Never Back Down" had its Los Angeles premiere and his girlfriend Kimora Lee Simmons was right by his side.

As evident in the photos, Djimon and Kimora are still going strong. After all, Kimora famously hinted at the success behind her relationship with Djimon in a Harper's Bazaar interview as this: "He's a reality check for me, and I'm a fabulosity check for him".

Djimon portrays a mentor in "Never Back Down" which opens nationwide next week Friday (March 14th to be precise). Click here to watch the trailer.

COLLEGE ROAD TRIP PREMIERE

"College Road Trip", the new film from Raven-Symoné and Martin Lawrence, had its world premiere event at the El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood last night.

Kym E. Whitley, who portrays Raven's mother in "College Road Trip", bought her family to the premiere. Other guests included Brenda Song, Donny Osmond, and Barry Bonds.

Raven's new single, "Double Dutch Bus" can be seen on the movie soundtrack. "College Road Trip", which opens this Friday, is Martin Lawrence's first rated-G film!
