Busy Beyonce says no to Pink Panther sequel
I will have to co-sign with Beyonce. If she wants to start taking her side hustle acting seriously she needs to do more real acting bits not something like the Pink Panther, Carmen, The Figthing Temptations or Goldmember. Not to knock her role in those movies but Beyonce acted as a famous or would be famous singer. Not to far away from Busy Bee's real life! Can't wait to see how much of a role she has in "Dreamgirls." There's already been Oscar talk about it. "Dreamgirls" opens in movie theatres everywhere on Christmas.
"Beyonce Knowles has turned down the chance to star in a sequel of The Pink Panther remake.The singer-turned-actress, who is set to wow audiences with upcoming musical Dreamgirls, is keen to focus on promoting her new solo album, and has no time to reteam with Steve Martin.She says: "I loved making the movie but with the new album I am way too busy to fit the second movie in." You can said that again! I'm interest to see how serious Jaime Foxx and Eddie Murphy can be.
As for Beyonce turning down that multi-million dollar contract I hope she did it because she simply can't squeeze it in!
I can't believe I finally made the association with the Candyman with Bill Condon. Dreamgirls is going to be brillant, then!
Sheesh .. it must be nice to be able to turn down multi-million paydays when you're 25 years old! .. I'm really looking forward to "Dreamgirls," though, mostly because it's being directed by Bill Condon
