Lil' Fiz on life after B2K
Former B2K member Lil' Fiz sat down with BET to talk about life after B2K. Dang I sort of miss these guys together. So I just had to take us back to when B2K was the hottest thing smoking since the Backstreet Boys, NSYNC, Boyz II Men, 112 era. Hate to admit it but I watched their movie together, "U Got Served."
Monday's throwback
("Girlfriend" by B2K)
Remember this one right? Everyone was up in this video. Jennifer Freeman from ABC hit series, "My Wife and kids", Ronald Isley, Will Smith and Vivica A Fox. This video made B2K legit and official. ::sighs:: the memories!

"Together, B2K stole the hearts of young girls everywhere and reached musical heights comparable with the best boy bands. Seperately, lead singer Omarion has been the only breakout star with his successful album, "O," and a new hot single out, "Entourage," since the group split in 2004. The other three members have virtually disappeared. But former B2K member Lil’ Fizz is determined to show the world that Omarion isn't the only star that can shine from the quartet. Fizz has been keeping busy with his own music career. With his new single, "Fluid," out and his album, Payday, on the way, Lil' Fizz is making his way back to the forefront.
We sat down with Lil' Fizz recently to talk about his new career moves and life after B2K.
What's life been like after B2K?
Um, life after B2K. It's definitely been a hard struggle...it's been hard work. Been going at it for a while, I'm trying to keep it moving and keep it positive though. I'm here now!
What's changed now that you’re older?
It's definitely changed a lot because I'm out on my own now. I pay my own bills, you know, so I got to take care of myself. You know, work and stay focused definitely.
Is it difficult being a solo artist?
Not at all really because I don't have three other personalities to clash with and to try to make it all work and fit. I'm on my own schedule, my own time, and on my own agenda so I've been having fun.
Have your views towards the music business changed?
Yeah, since I've gotten older and separated from the whole B2K thing, I've definitely learned a whole lot in this business. I've got my lawyers and everybody that's around me. The experience helped me learn a lot about music industry. "This Business of Music" [by M. William Krasilovsky, Sidney Shemel, and John M. Gross] is a good book to read about the business as a whole.
What can your fans expect from the album?
The album is titled Payday. I've got a lot of tracks about personal experiences about all the girls I dealt with. I talk about being gone for two years and the struggle to get to where I am now. It's a lot of fun. It's mostly hip hop, but it's got a little bit of R&B too. I got some singles on it and, of course, a few guest surprises. But overall, it's fun, young, and definitely all me. It's a personal experience all through the album. Go get it. Buy five of them!"
