A source tells us Evans - who recently split with his girlfriend of two years, Jessica Biel - injured his ankle during a photo shoot for Men's Health magazine in New York last week while the supermodel was visiting family in her native Brazil. Bundchen couldn't fly to be with him, but she let him recuperate in her apartment. A rep for Bundchen didn't return e-mails. "

"Madonna's husband Guy Ritchie strongly disapproves of her adopting Malawian baby David Banda, it has been claimed.The one-year-old boy was flown to London on Tuesday (17.10.06) after the singer and the 'Revolver' director were granted temporary custody of him but it has allegedly caused huge rows between the couple.A source told Britain's Closer magazine: "Guy was not in favour of adopting and the rows have caused tension between them, but Madonna has refused to back down."She is one of six children and she always promised herself she would have a large family like her mother. Being 48, she is only too aware she would struggle to conceive. She's in terrific physical shape and still has bags of energy to put into bringing up another child."Guy's own mother, Lady Amber Leighton, was forced to give up her first baby for adoption when she was an unmarried 17-year-old and this personal experience made Guy reluctant to adopt.The source explained: "Guy's own personal heartbreak with adoption has left him very sceptical about doing it himself. But nothing could stop Madonna."However, Guy's father John insists his son - who has never met his sibling who was put for adoption - is happy with the situation.John said: "Nothing would make me happier than if they adopt.
