Rapper's delight: Jay-Z and The Game talks about crazy Internet rumors
Jay-Z and The Game made headline news by answering rampant rumors about their rap careers.
♥ ♥
First up Jay-Z who laughs off rumors of him leaving Def Jam:
"Jay-Z has laughed off rumors he is planning to leave "Def Jam Records," insisting he will remain president of the label until 2008. Jay took the post in January of 2005, signing a three-year contract at the label. He says, "Everything is good, I know there's been some rumors I was leaving "Def Jam" but I'm not leaving, I signed on for three years, so I don't have plans to move on. "I love working with Antonio "L.A." Reid. I love working with Steve Baretel, I love "Universal" chairman and CEO, Doug Morris. "I'll do whatever, if it's consulting, whatever it is but I don't have any plans to go anywhere any time soon." In Related News: Jay-Z has hit back at claims he didn't promote LL Cool J's album, insisting his commitment to the project was 100 percent. He refuses to take blame for poor sales since its release in April. He says, "I think that we went above and beyond with this project. The commitment to the project was clearly there. How much can you give a man?" "
Okkkkay Jay-Z let people know the deal!

The Game is said to retired at the age of 31. Oh really? Seeing is believing:
"Rapper 'The Game' is planning to retire from rap when he turns 31, so he can spend more time watching TV with his family. The rapper, 26, insists, he'll quit the record industry in five years and settle down. He says, "I love TV but I don't have time. There aren't enough hours in the day for me. "I have to spend more time with my son, my girl, the homies, time in the studio and on tour. "I think that I'm going to probably quit rapping around 31."
