Nicole from the Pussycat Dolls to record a solo album!
I can't wait to hear her solo record. From her songs with Diddy and Avant I think Nicole's here for the long run.
~~~
"Pussycat Doll Nicole Scherzinger, a.k.a. the one who can actually sing, will release her solo debut album early next year."I'm excited because its something fresh, something new," Scherzinger told MTV News about the record. "I like to sing a lot of styles and kinds of music, so it's kind of an infusion of all kinds of things."The lead Pussycat has had a great deal of experience to include in her infusion. She sang backing vocals for long-forgotten '90s rock band Days Of The New, fronted Eden's Crush, a group that arose from the Popstars reality television series, covered "Breakfast In Bed" on the 50 First Dates soundtrack (under the moniker Nicole Kea), and has collaborated with Will Smith, Shaggy and Diddy.Scherzinger's album will include contributions from Black Eyed Pea Will.I.Am, Akon, Polow Da Don, Sean Garrett, Kara DioGuardi and uber-producer Timbaland, whom she co-wrote tracks with. She'll also appear on Timbaland's forthcoming album.Scherzinger is also hoping to further develop her acting career. She's had small roles in the TV shows My Wife And Kids and Las Vegas as well as the films Love Don't Cost A Thing and Chasing Papi.Pussycat Dolls fans need not fear, however, as the group will record a second album with Scherzinger and head out on a North American tour with Christina Aguilera in the new year."
