Fans of TLC will be happy to hear this good news. Chilli is going to release a solo record on Akon's Interscope-distributed Konvict Records Kon Live Distribution quite soon according to Eurweb.com. Admit it TLC was one band you always identify with. Every girl called themselves a Left-Eye fan, T-Boz Fan or a Chilli fan back in the way. Well I am a Chilli fan so I am excited to see she's recording a solo record. Can't wait to hear it!

"Missy Elliott, the Black Eyed Peas' will.i.am and Timbaland are among the producers tapped to work on the debut solo album of Rozanda "Chilli" Thomas under her new deal with Akon's Konvict Muzik label.
The Interscope-distributed label will release a set that promises to offer a different side of the vocalist who grew up before millions of fans as a member of the trio TLC.
"This will be totally opposite from when she was with the multiplatinum group," Akon tells Billboard. "She's an incredible artist and I want people to reconnect with her."
Akon says he will produce half of Chilli's album, which is due to be released in mid-2007.
In related news, Akon will begin casting in February for "Illegal Alien," a film inspired by the Senegalese-born singer's life story.
"The majority of the film is basically true," says Akon, who will write, produce, co-direct and score the movie."
