Taye has often talked about his wife, Idina {remember her as the Wicked Witch in the Broadway play, Wicked} and together they experienced racist remarks and letters from people who are against their interracial marriage. Okay this has nothing to do with this story but did you know that Taye is not his real name? Taye's real name is Scott. When he was little his friends used to stretch out his name to Scott-Taye. So he dropped Scott and stick with Taye. Okay but to this truth or rumor.

"November 22, 2006 -- IDINA Menzel, you'd better watch your man. Taye Diggs, who married his "Rent" co-star in 2003, was spotted "cheek to cheek" with Ashlee Simpson at G Spa last week. They took tequila shots and were intimately whispering and intertwining arms for a half hour. A rep for Simpson says she and Diggs are "just friends."

I would have called this a truth if Taye was hugging Paris Hilton {now she's notoriously for stealing other people's man! Ahem she's beefing with Trevor's ex-wife Shania! HELLO!}
