Box Office Re-Cap:: "Taj" is a must-see!
Box Office Thursday---yet again I forgot to post this up! Thursday night was busy! Anyway here's the movies breaking the top 10 box office:
"Top Box Office
Last Updated 11/26/2006
1.
Happy Feet {Animated #1?!}
2.
Casino Royale {Bond, James Bond wants YOU!}
3.
Deja Vu {Denzel's still got that box office charm!}
4.
Deck the Halls {are you kidding me?!}
5.
Borat: Cultural Learnings of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan
6.
The Santa Clause 3: The Escape Clause {see what I said for #4}
7.
Flushed Away {huh?!}
8.
Stranger Than Fiction
9.
Bobby {only #9?!?! WTF?! People go see this movie ASAP!}
10.
The Fountain"
I am disappointed to see that my move, "The Departed" has slipped off the top 10 completely but I'm grateful to see the new James Bond is still in the top 5! I am also disappointed to see that "Bobby" opened at #9---what in the f?! Maybe the film is not that great or it's great and people are sleeping on it like they did on "my Big Fat Greek Wedding" before it went BIG!
Nothing big is opening today...
"Opening This Week
National Lampoon's Van Wilder: The Rise of Taj
The Nativity Story
Turistas"
Christmas is right around the corner so expect tons and tons of holiday flicks. Speaking of which do see "The Holiday" starring Jack Black, Cameron Diaz, Kate Winselt and Jude Lude. I got an invite to the special screening and I couldn't make it due to Thursday night festivals. The film looks great and the fact Jude Law's in it is even greater. Wasn't Jude Law the star of 2004-2005. The guy starred in more films than I can count on my feet and fingers over the past couple of years.

3 Needles stars Lucy Liu--a visible star that sort of vanished from box office radar. Morgan Freeman's film can be seen online. Yes online!
I recommended the new Kal Penn film. This guy has appeared in a lot of supporting roles {ie. Love Don't Cost a Thing} and this film is giving him some solo time to shine. Can he pull it off? I think he definitely can. Enjoy watching this film this weekend!
