Usher will receive the 2007 Spirit Award...
"Usher Raymond will receive the 2007 Spirit Award from the Beverly Hills/Hollywood NAACP Theatre Awards in recognition of his recent performance in “Chicago” on Broadway. The Spirit Award recognizes those individuals who bring new energy to the theater industry. Previous recipients include Fayard Nicholas, Phylicia Rashad, Art Evans, Danny Glover, and Heavy D. As previously reported, Chandra Wilson and Rockmond Dunbar are hosting the ceremony, which is scheduled to take place in Los Angeles on Feb. 19."
