Eddie Murphy's Mama is behind his split from Scary Spice
Rumor has it that Eddie Murphy's mama Lillian is the woman behind Scary Spice and NOT Tracey Edmonds as reported beforehand by Eddie himself. "HE might see himself as a ladies' man but Eddie Murphy is really a momma's boy, scarned lover Mel B has revealed. Fast mover Eddie, 45, showed off new girlfriend Tracey Edmonds just hours after telling the world he had dumped Mel. But it was his momma Lillian - whom Eddie still lives with - who killed off his four-month whirlwind romance with the ex-Spice Girl. One of the singer's pals revealed: "He lives with his mother and she didn't approve of Mel. But he's a 45-year-old man and should stop being such a mummy's boy." Eddie's new sweetheart Tracey, 39 - with him at the New York premiere of his new movie Dreamgirls - revealed they had been an item for six weeks.But Mel's friend added: "Mel and Eddie had been disagreeing a lot about his family, most of whom are on his payroll. "They were suspicious of Mel because she got pregnant so quickly after they met." The pop star, 31, is said have conceived the first time they slept together. She put a brave face on things as she flew into Los Angeles from London yesterday. But she is deeply upset at the dad-of-six's claims that the tot may not be his. A friend stormed: "Mel is not that sort of girl. It's 100 per cent his. "She's been talking about how much she's looking forward to having his baby while he has been saying things like that.
