Nicole Richie's painkiller Vicodin defense
Us Weekly has the exclusive scoop on Nicole Richie's new obsession with the painkiller drug Vicodine? Apparrently her defense is menstrual cramps. DO YOU BELIEVE HER??! Read on for the scoop as seen on UsWeekly's website, "Usmagazine.com has learned exclusively that Nicole Richie is telling friends that the reason she was on the painkiller Vicodin during her recent arrest was to treat menstruation cramps.
Richie, 25, was arrested early Monday morning for driving under the influence of marijuana and Vicodin, after she was seen driving the wrong way down a California freeway.
Vicodin is an opiate and Richie's involvement with the drug raises concern because she was once hooked on heroin, and former addicts who dabble in other drugs risk relapse. But pals of the Simple Life star insist that Richie has changed her ways since completing drug rehab in 2003.
"She knows she made a mistake, but overall she's in a better place," says a close friend of Richie. "She has come a long way from her heroin days."
The celebutante is said to be upset over media reports that she's addicted to pills, and is insisting to friends that she only "occasionally" takes Vicodin once a month at the start of her menstruation cycle." I think Nicole's drug problems comes from being adopted. I don't think she came to terms with being or feeling unwanted just yet. [photo credit: Splash News]

At 12:26 PM,
My name is Robert Fraser and i would like to show you my personal experience with Vicodin.
I am 27 years old. Have been on Vicodin for 1 day now. Found a few pills. I'm currently not an addict though I have taken vicodin in the past and I am certainly playing with the devil because I do like the feeling it gives me. Biggest problem, besides the addiction, is Insomnia. Tossed and turned for two hours before I decided to research it.
I have experienced some of these side effects -
Constipation and insomnia.
I hope this information will be useful to others,
Robert Fraser
um whatever! Nicole needs some serious help ASAP!
