Oprah Winfrey to host the ABC primetime Oscar special.
"Oprah Winfrey has teamed with ABC for a primetime Oscar special. The daytime talk show queen will host and executive produce "The Oprah Winfrey Oscar Special," which will air Feb 22, the Thursday before the network's broadcast of the 79th annual Academy Awards. The one-hour special will feature Academy Award winners Julia Roberts, Nicole Kidman and Jamie Foxx doing one-on-one interviews with an Oscar-winning actor of their choice. Roberts will interview George Clooney at his Los Angeles home. Kidman will meet Russell Crowe at the Beverly Hills Hotel for their first-ever on-camera appearance together, and Foxx will sit down with Sidney Poitier on the stage where the veteran actor collected his Oscar for "Lilies of the Field" in 1963.
"The Oprah Winfrey Oscar Special" will not interfere with Barbara Walters' 25th annual Oscar Special, which ABC will air as usual the night of the Awards. Walters' guests this year have not been announced yet. Last year, she interviewed Clooney." {Source}

New couple alert---Justin Timberlake and Scarlett Johansson?!? Well that's what Us Weekly is reporting on in their latest newsstand issue.
"JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE has reportedly already moved on from his split with CAMERON DIAZ and is romancing SCARLETT JOHANSSON. The MY LOVE singer recently separated from Diaz after three-and-a-half years and has quietly started dating actress Johansson. According to American publication Us Weekly, Timberlake, 25, and Diaz, 34, called it quits just before the New Year (07). A source close to Timberlake says the final straw in the relationship came when Diaz became furious after discovering he had handpicked Johansson to star as his love interest in his new music video WHAT GOES AROUND. Diaz reportedly dislikes Johansson because she starred in LOST IN TRANSLATION, a film where ANNA FARIS plays a ditzy character that was reportedly based on Diaz, and because Johansson subsequently dated her ex-boyfriend JARED LETO. Johansson, 22, is newly single after a split with her THE BLACK DAHLIA co-star JOSH HARTNETT and was spotted with Timberlake at an after-party for his new film ALPHA DOGS last week (03JAN07). I got family who does this down South so I'm eager to hear if this movie matches the energy stomping folks puts in. Go see this movie. If you enjoyed "Drumline", "You Got Served" and even that Zoe Saladana movie where she ballets, you'll definitely enjoy this film.

...I actually saw him and the cast film scenes in the movie on the set...so I felt an attachment, y'know?...fantabulous...
I think I'm going 2 view the movie again 2day @ the matinee ;)...
