Jennifer Hudson does 'ESSENCE'
Jennifer Hudson appears on the cover of 'Essence' magazine.
Jennifer on how her first movie, 'Dreamgirls' landed her fame, a Golden Globe, SAG, and a Oscar nomination:
"This is something I totally did not expect, never once plotted or planned for. I didn't see it coming-God kept this a secret from me."
Clive Davis on Jennifer's Dreamgirls screen test:
"I was totally knocked out...the range in vocal dynamics and ability was startling."
What's next for Jennifer:
In March, she'll record her solo album on J Records.
What song she'll performed at the upcoming Oscars on Sunday February 25th:
'Love You I Do.'
