Usher in "Atlanta Peach"
Usher was recently interviewed by Isoul H. Harris for "Atlanta Peach." In the interview he address his new career changes he went through post-Confessions.
Usher on co-owning the Cleveland Cavaliers:
"I am very prouud of my investment with the Cavaliers. If you ever get a chance to go to Cleveland, check out a game. Halftime is pure fun. Part of my job is to find ways to entertain the people, which is one of my biggest contributions."
Usher on hoping to emulate Magic Johnson's multi-million dollar empire:
"I am still creating [my plan]. But [I admire how] Magic was known as a basketball player and now he is respected for his business acument. He has managed to keep it just as sexy at the same time, but also make great business decisions and relationships that have allowed him to grow. I respect him."
Usher on his upcoming fifth record:
"This will be my fifth album, and I am excited about it. I am anxious more than nervous, but I never put myself through that turmoil of having to beat myself. I give people what they want to hear and also find a way to articulate myself in such a way that people will understand and relate to it. It's the same way in business: How do you get to the people and offer them something remarkable?"
