Rev Run and wife, Justine Simmons, to Adopt
In a candid interview with "Essence" magazine, former RUN D.M.C. rapper Joseph “Rev. Run” Simmons and his wife are eyeing adoption after tragically losing their newborn daughter last year. The hip-hop star and wife Justine were devastated when their baby Victoria Anne died just an hour after her birth in September 2006. Justine tells America's Essence magazine, "I always wanted to adopt, but every time I mentioned it my husband would say, 'Why not have your own baby?' "We take for granted that we can just have a baby. But I couldn't. Maybe part of the reason God let this happen is because He wanted us to adopt." [CONTACTMUSIC.COM]

i am glad that they are considering adoption . i can understand why he would rather try to have a baby on their own , but i can see where she is coming from as well. i don't think she wants to chance losing another baby.
