Over the weekend she partied with her best friend/assistant Melissa and actor Shia LaBouf. Rihanna in the past hasn't been coy about her love for fine white men like Justin Timberlake and Paul Walker. Visit Bossip for the full scoop on Rihanna and Shia.
Ashanti hit up Mario Winans' b'day bash in high style with her gold Louis Vuitton monogram speedy bag.
No word yet on why Jagged Edge didn't include Ashanti's vocals AND prescene in their "Put A Little Ummph In It" music video.
Sans make-up, Tyra Banks battled the wet weather while leaving her NYC apartment en route to a taping of her self-titled talk show.
The model-turned-host is currently preparing for her big season debut with an interview with Democratic hopeful Sen. Barack Obama. The segment with the Illinois Democrat will be taped September 27 in the Big Apple.
Beyonce starts recording this December for a follow-up to "B'Day." Are you ready for Beyonce mania in 2008? The Houston, Texas starlet also talks briefly about her upcoming film project.
Hopefully by this December, Kelly Rowland, Michelle Williams and Solange Knowles will drop a single or two.
Michelle is said to be working on a R&B album. Solange is working on her second album. Kelly's busy promoting her singles, "Comeback", "Ghetto" and fan favorite, "Work." I will say this Chi-town radio gives Kelly some love. I must have heard "Like This" every five to ten minutes two weeks ago.

"Get Me Bodied" grew on me. She disappointed me by prolonging the video treatment to "Upgrade U."
Beyonce is doing something Mariah did and Mariah burnt out eventually from not cooling down. Mariah cooled down and came back stronger with "The Emanicipation of Mimi." Yeah Mariah dominated the '90s and give us all classics.
But with Beyonce's music do you see yourself singing "Kitty Kat", "Suga Mama", "That's How You Like It" years from now?
I am mad at the makeup artist. They made Beyonce look much older than what she really is.
I'm waiting on her to bring out more meaningful songs like "Dangerously in Love" and "Me, Myself and I."
At 10:04 PM,
i have to agree . i can't see myself singing get me bodied in ten years , but dangerously in love is definitely a classic. i can see myself singing irreplaceable even .
get me bodied & ring the alarm grew on me . irreplacable was the only song that i really didn't need a month or two to like.
alot of people said that mariah sold out with the emanciptaion of mimi because it was too commerial. i agree to a degree . i do think that TEOM was very commercial , but i understand why she put out a commercial album. of course if mariah did a more meaningfiul album the fans will buy , but she still has to please the general public . you can't be mariah carey and not sell . mariah would have been shopping for a new label had she not put out this album in the way that she did . albums like cb which were very persoanl , are deemed flops because they didn't sell 10 million . she has alot to live up to.
At 11:06 PM,
Hate to bring another artist into the equation but folks said the same thing about Mary J Blige's Love & Life.
When MJB came back dancing with Method Man and Diddy, folks went nuts calling her too commerical.
And she bounced right back with "Family Affair" and the classic, "No More Drama."
I hope with this third album Beyonce's recording, she'll mix a little of the fun {"Get Me Bodied", "Deja Vu", "Crazy in Love") with serious R&B like she did with "Irreplaceable", "Me Myself and I" and "Dangerously in Love."
Funny how "Dangerously in Love" wasn't officially released but it got played more on the radio. Urban radio stations STILL play that song like it came out yesterday.
I think folks (fans and non-fans) just want Beyonce to produce something a little extra.
No question she gives her ALL performing but she has to go lyrically extra.
I'll always this much--"The Writing's On the Wall" showed the strength of Destiny's Child.
LeToya proved so with her self-titled record "Torn" as did Michelle with her Gospel record "Hear A Word" and Kelly with her current album "Stole", "Still in Love with My X."
Mariah's voice was always her strong point. Her voice delivers a song--"Hero", "My All", "One Sweet Day", etc.
When Mariah hit us off with that Glitter album folks wanted the slow-ballad Mariah back and she came back with "TEOM" and "Charmbraclet."
Licia, girl you got me started, lmao!
At 1:46 AM,
people had a fit when mary put out love and life . that wasn't the mary that everyone was used to . there are some good songs on love and life though .
i think that is what it is . lyrically beyonce hasn't brought anything great to the table . there was so much hype surrounding beyonce and b'day. that it was such a mature album and to listen to it i got nothing but fluff. where's the maturity and growth ? i expected more is all . she's a hard worker and i respect that , but when is she gonna go beyond the booty bouncing .
glitter got the raw deal because people didn't like the movie . it was a steller album IMO( i love 80's music). people treated this album as an official mariah album when it was a soundtrack . fans hate charmbracelet because she used her voice in a different way yet it was more personal , but they hate TEOM because they said it was too commercial yet her voice was on point . in a way her music has always been commercial because they marketed her singing in a style that was popular and commercial at the time.
preach miss chi !!! lol
At 2:33 PM,
You are definitely telling the truth about Chi-town showing Kelly-Ro some love... I was there this past weekend and I am sick of Like This!!!!! But what saddens me is that she has songs like Comeback, and Work, and in love with my ex... that aren't getting any radio play!!!! Like this has been bumping since like March or May.... enuff ALREADY

Licia I can't help myself, lol!
Every artist has a song they're known for. Mariah's Hero. Whitney's I Will Always Love You. Mary's No More Drama. Beyonce's Crazy in Love.
Beyonce needs to come harder than "Dangerously in Love."
Pam, I'm so serious. They played out "Like This" on the radio in Chi-Town---I thought she was in town or something.
i hope bey comes with something better than b'day . i like maybe 4 songs and even though i am not a big fan of hers i still try to give her music a chance . she should have thrown b'day in the trash IMO.
