PREVIEW GABRIELLE UNION'S NEW FILM, THE BOX
Gabrielle Union's "The Perfect Holiday" might have not done well in opening week but this hasn't stop her movie career. Gabrielle Union and actor Giancarlo Esposito is set to appear in the upcoming, "The Box", which was honored at the 17th Annual African, Asian, and Latin Film Festival.
Here's the rundown of "The Box" via the press release sent to Urban-Hoopla:A disgraced former LAPD detective leads a home invasion in search of millions in stolen money. The plan goes awry and homicide detectives (Gabrielle Union, Giancarlo Esposito) seeking answers interrogate the only survivors; a thief and a victim. Through persistent questioning from the detectives, there lies a deeper motivation for the detectives – for one (Union), to amend her past mistakes as a rookie cop; for the other (Esposito), to cash in on a high-stakes offer from the mysterious mastermind behind the whole scheme.
"The Box", billed as 'neo-noir' flick comes out on DVD January 8th.
