Chrisette Michelle, Grammy-nominated R&B songbird, is set to guest star on "Girlfriends".

The Tracee Ellis Ross-directed episode, "What's Black-A-Lacking?" showcases Chrisette singing with piano assistance.

Here's what to expect: Lynn (Persia White) gets upset when she learns that her record label is pushing back the release of her album to promote another artist, Chrisette Michele (guest starring as herself). When Lynn confronts the record label, they tell her they are concerned about how to market her because they feel she is not “black” enough. Trace Ellis Ross directed the episode written by Michele Mar burger and Kevin Mar burger.

The Chrisette Michele episode airs Monday February 11th at 9:00 PM E.T.
