Whoopi Goldberg, the first African-American woman to win ALL the major show business awards-a Oscar, Emmy, Grammy and a Tony, was undeniably snubbed during the 2008 Oscar montage honoring all the previous Oscar hosts. Comedian/actor Steve Martin was also left out in the montage highlighting 80 years of the Academy Awards.

Whoopi was the first woman of color to host the Oscars alone in 1994 before hosting the event three addtional times in 1996, 1999 and 2002.

This shocking snub was addressed on today's broadcast of Whoopi's ABC talk show, "The View". As you can see in the video clip, Whoopi was visibly choked up from the snub as she gave her co-hosts a hug saying, "This made up for it."
