JAY-Z REMIXES MARIAH'S BYE BYE

Just like Jermaine Dupri hinted to in this youtube blog, Jay-Z recorded a remix to Mariah Carey's second single, "Bye, Bye".
Jay-Z took a song that had a meaningful backdrop and made it club-friendly. Is it safe to call the remix "Heartbreaker" 2008?
In case you missed it, re-cap Mariah's performance of "Bye Bye" here. Mariah will premiere her "Bye, Bye" music video on TRL on April 28.

I love the original. I think MiMi should have let us be touched by the lyrics of the original for a while anyways before she allowed this remix junk. I don't like the remix and I'm sure I never will but I shouldn't call it junk cuz someone might like it. I will listen to the original for many years to come because I am truly a "lamb".
