Yesterday, Ashanti paid a visit to BET's "106 & Park" to promote her new album, "The Declaration" which is in stores today. Ashanti talked about her new female empowerment-based website IDECLAREME.COM and her life since her 2004 record, "Concrete Rose".



For those in the New York City area, Ashanti will be at Virgin megastore in Times Square for a in-store performance TONIGHT. Ashanti also will be on "Good Morning America" for their Summer Concert Series where she'll perform a medley of her hits (old and current) with Ja Rule.
