HOOPLA ON JENNIFER HUDSON
Ever since Jennifer Hudson made her Oscar-winning role in "Dreamgirls", all eyes have been on her to see what her next move would be. Jennifer has appeared in the summer chick flick "Sex & The City" but coming this October she has another noteworthy role in "The Secret Life of Bees."
On the music tip, Jennifer's debut record will be in stores this September with the Ne-Yo writtten/produced lead single, "Spotlight." "Entertainment Tonight" caught with JHud on the video set of her single, "Spotlight." Check out the clip below...
Jennifer told Kevin Frazer of "ET" that "Spotlight" has a sentimental meaning to her. “It definitely tells a story of me and my life. What I sing really happens to me.” Coming this Fall, JHud fever will be in full force, don't you agree?

While she may have had a small but pivotal role in this summer’s blockbuster hit ‘Sex and the City: The Movie’, Jennifer Hudson will have a bigger role in her next film, ‘The Secret Life Of Bees’, which will pair her with Dakota Fanning, Queen Latifah, Alicia Keys, and Sophie Okonedo.
Set in South Carolina in 1964, story centers on Lily Owens (Fanning), who escapes her lonely life and troubled relationship with her father by running away with her caregiver and only friend (Hudson) to a South Carolina town that holds the secret to her mother’s past.Latifah, Okonedo and Keys play the three sisters
‘The Secret Life of Bees’ is based on a 2002 bestselling novel by American author Sue Monk Kidd. Directed by Gina Prince Bythewood, the film also stars Nate Parker ("sigh") and Tristan Wilds (double "sigh").
