Back in April 2008, Usher filmed behind-the-scenes footage with photographer Jonathan Mannion on the streets of Harlem, New York for his July 2008 "VIBE" magazine cover.



Check out a few quotes taken from Usher's interview with "VIBE" contributing writer Mitzi Miller.

"The swagger I possess now definitely comes from my wife," Usher says. "And my son completes me. He changes my perpective on what life is, and what matters."

"It's not easy for anyone to create hit after hit," he says. But still he creates them. "It gets harder because I don't want to be [in the studio]. I want to be in the house," he says. "These are the days of my son's life, these first three years. I want to be there. The challenge is having it all."

"Am I so much of a bad guy because I decided to get married? Am I so much of a bad guy [because once I got in the situation], I decided to stand for something build a foundation, and think about my future? As a man, you would respect me for not turning my back on it."
