SANAA LATHAN AND NIA LONG TO CO-STAR IN 'CLEVELAND SHOW'
Close friends/actresses Sanaa Lathan and Nia Long have signed on to voice roles for FOX's animated series, "The Cleveland Show." The series is the urban take of "Family Guy."
Check out the hoopla from the Black Voices Blog: Lathan, who starred in films such as 'Brown Sugar' and 'Love & Basketball' will play Cleveland's wife, Donna, while Long, who starred in last season's ABC drama series 'Big Shots,' will voice the character of rebellious stepdaughter Roberta.
Sanaa and Nia worked together on "The Best Man" and they also appeared on the cover of "Essence" magazine with Gabrielle Union. These two have always been selective with their acting roles so I'm interested to see how the show goes on with them signed on.
