AVANT TALKS ABOUT HIS LEAD SINGLE: "WHEN IT HURTS"
Avant sat down with Billboard to talk briefly about his lead single, "When It Hurts" off his self-titled album. He also revealed the album's release date (October 28th) so pencil that date into your calendars!
"I'm back in the game and have a renewed love of R&B. I just wanted to make good music versus doing a theme album; to have it be more about who I am as a person. The reality-based 'When' is an example of that," the singer/songwriter continues. "Everyone wants a 30-year relationship or marriage. But at one point a relationship is going to hurt." [BILLBOARD]
"When It Hurts" was produced by Anonymous and Antonio Dixon. Avant also filmed the video treatment with famed video director Bille Woodruff so it expect to see it

Eb, Avant's music is underrated but consistent. I thought his last album was amazing! I like all of his albums but "Director" was my favorite. I like all the interludes and the following songs "This Is Your Night", and "So Many Ways."
I love every one of Avant's albums... the first album is my fav though... glad he's still doing it
