CHRISTINA MILIAN AND T.I. COVERS RAP-UP
Rap-Up placed Christina Milian and T.I. on its Winter 2008/2009 double-sided cover.
Christina told RAP-UP that Janet Jackson inspired her to go forward with her upcoming album. "I bumped into Janet Jackson at a club. We talked for an hour and I was telling her I don’t know if I’m gonna do this, and she was like, ‘Girl, do not let them stop you. I’m a fan and you make good music.’ She’s a person I actually looked up to growing up, so her telling me that really was the day I was like, ‘I’m not gonna let these people hold me down. It’s time.’”
T.I. opened up about how kids will deal with his upcoming prison time. I bumped into Janet Jackson at a club. We talked for an hour and I was telling her I don’t know if I’m gonna do this, and she was like, ‘Girl, do not let them stop you. I’m a fan and you make good music.’ She’s a person I actually looked up to growing up, so her telling me that really was the day I was like, ‘I’m not gonna let these people hold me down. It’s time.’”
Next up for Christina is the release of her "Us Against The World" music video. T.I. just released his third collaboration with Justin Timberlake called, "If I" earlier this week.
