Donald Trump to make a cameo on tonight's "America's Got Talent"
Donald Trump will make a surprise appearance on tonight’s edition of America’s Got Talent, our national vehicle for child rockers and ventriloquist parrots. The pre-taped episode finds The Donald onstage with host Regis Philbin, both of them wearing matching suits. Naturally, madcap scripted “banter” ensues. When Regis asks Donald what his talents are, Donald replies, “Making money, building buildings and The Apprentice.”
“[Trump is] a close friend of mine, so that was fun,” Regis told Us after the taping. “It is always great to see him and I have been on his show and I am glad he made our show. He is a great character, a real New York guy and I loved seeing him tonight.”
The show airs tonight on NBC at 8 p.m.(EST).
