Since when did Mya have an accent over the "y" in her name? I thought that was just a design she up and left on her self-titled debut album!?!?!
Remember back in the day when Mya was considered our version of Ashanti. She did that one hot song with Sisqo...sort of like Ashanti and Ja Rule. She was featured on every hot song when back like "Case of the Ex", "All About Me", "Ghetto Superstar", "Best of Me (Remix)", "Girls Dem Sugar" and so on and on.
Well she's back!!! Last we heard about Mya was that song with Cuban Link called "Sugar Daddy" Mya recently sat down to chat with BlackVoices about her two upcoming movies, ('The Metrosexual' 'Ways of the Flesh') and her new album, 'Liberation.'.

On her love life: My love is always like wo! That's why my a%# has to be stingy! The actual song, I wasn't a fan of it. It didn't have any oomph to me. So we went in and changed the lyrics and added some production. Then I was like, 'I really want to perform this on stage, I really can't wait to do a video.' It's a character kind of song, so I like to get into that character even if I'm not there in my life. I like to believe that I'm always there. It's healthy to think of yourself that way.
