Is anyone else excited to hear that Kelly's working hard to revamp her next record? Well Kelly recently sat down with MTV to discuss her music. The former Destiny's Child bandmate has tapped the musical shoulders of Snoop Dogg, Tank and Sean Garret to help make her sound "...urban, more R&B."
Kelly describes her new musicial direction:
"It was basically a list of songs that I put together about the past three relationships. And I remember listening to the record, and I was just like, "I don't want this to be too deep to where you know [I] lose people.' I still wanna have my party records, and I still wanna make people get up and bob their heads and vibe a little bit. And the record was too full of midtempos and ballads, so I wanted to bring it up a little bit. I mean, I'm 25. I'm young."
As apart of MTV's spankin' new music week Kelly is featured on MTV's Overdrive as well. Here's hoping Kelly's next record will be a BIG success. I still say Kelly just needs to break away from the Knowles. I mean look at what being in control did to Janet's career! She's a multi-talented superstar! Kelly has potential to be great if she simply gets FULL control of her career.


By now the media has been swamped with the T.O. attempted suicide scandal. Now some of you are aware of the fact that T.O's a budding football player. So the football world is shocked and alarmed at this story just as much as I am! T.O and his publicist adamantly denies the accusation but did say that T.O is on medication at a press conference earlier. Just what kind of medication are you on that you're well enough to a press conference is what I'll like to know!!!!


The Simmons family have to deal with the death of a newborn in the bright light of Hollywood. Rev. Run's wife delivered their newborn girl via C-section at Valley Hospital in Ridgewood. Their baby didn't make it. TMZ claims that the baby's organs were OUTSIDE of the infant. My prayers are with them at their time of grief. Their daugther Vanessa {well the person claims that her! Ya'll know how MySpace is!} posted up two bulletins talking about the news.


Janet Jackson's latest "20 Y.O" was released this past Tuesday. I went everywhere I know they sell music records only to find this album was SOLD OUT! They are two verisons of her album ladies and gentlemen! 20 Y.O has a collector's edition with a CD/DVD and a fan's edition {the winners of her Design Me Contest have the cover.} I had to wait until I went to NYC to get her album. Hitsdailydouble is predicting that Janet will have the #1 CD next week with an estimated 340,000-360,000 sold in a DAY! Congrats Miss Janet!


Actress and singer Beyonce and her mother and Tina Knowles in the latest National Milk Mustache 'got milk? AD campaign. I collected these Got Milk Ads ever since they started. I got just about every one of their ADs but the David Beckham one. So I'll be on the lookout for this!
