On Newsstand: Janet on "W"
on a side note: Has Janet media blitz died down? Her album drops September 25th?!?! Where is she at?!?! I barely hear her singles "Call on Me" and "So Excited" on the radio nor do I see "Call on Me" on the music video channels. Hey this might be just ME!!! I'm wondering if JD, Super Bowl drama, or even MTV has anything has to do with this?
Point One:
Ever since JD took over her music production-wise Janet has come half-stepping. I mean her last biggest hit was "All for U"...that song jumpstarted Janet a while back then she quickly became back with slow ballads like "Someone To Call My Lover", "Call on Me", and "I Want U"!
Point Two:
Super Bowl drama left Janet to pick up all these pieces all by herself. I even got upset at how Justin fell back! But I'm glad he came out and said his peace on the subject! Too late? Well it's never too late to settle things and move on! MTV, even though they don't want to admit it, has yet to embrace Janet on their shows nor on their network! What gives?!?!
Point Three:
Maybe Janet's taking it slow? I mean she's been doing her thing since she was in diapers. She's just doing her thing at her own pace!
Point Four:
Love is blind! Her love for JD is all she's been talking about in magazine interviews! I know JD's her man and all but can she move pass this?
Janet needs to come back HARD! I'm tired of all these artists (::coughs:: Britney Spears, Ciara, Beyonce, Cherish) out jocking her style and not giving respect when it's due! AHHH I just want the "Pleasure Principle" and "Control" Janet B-A-C-K!
