Ever since her "Rock Withcu" American tour was cancelled, Janet Jackson has kept a low profile...until now. She was spotted in a black quiled Moncler down jacket making her way through Heathrow International Airport.



Janet was later on seen outside London's Cipriani restaurant with a suede Hermes Birkin bag and without boyfriend Jermaine Dupri. The famous Jackson sibling was in London to support her sister La Toya's Celebrity Big Brother gig.



Anyone else hoping for a new Janet album...or not?

Beyonce (who just picked up the starring role in "A Star Is Born" not true) was spotted outside the luxurious Hotel Meurice. (She's in town to film her appearance on "Star Academy.") The recent Elle magazine cover girl just announced the European tour dates for her "I Am..." world tour which kicks off on April 26th in Zagreb, Croatia and ends on May 31st in Belfast, UK. (Thierry Mugler is the tour's sole fashion designer.) Congrats to Mrs. Carter for her Golden Globe nomination in the catgeory Best Original Song - Motion Picture "Once In a Lifetime" off "Cadillac Records."



A quote lifted Beyonce's Giant magazine interview caused a frenzy in the blogosphere. When asked about the comparisons between the Jacksons (as in Janet and MJ's family) to her own, Beyonce has this to say: “I grew up upper-class. Private school. My dad had a Jaguar. We’re African-American and we work together as a family, so people assume we’re like the Jacksons. But I didn’t have parents using me to get out of a bad situation.” [source: Ok] If this quote is true, can you knock Beyonce for defending her family? Though she could have said it another way to prevent 'slamming' the Jackson clan, I get what she tried to say. (But that's just my opinion!)

Usher and his wife Tameka welcomed their second son together on Wednesday morning according to reports. (The child will be Usher's second and Tameka's fifth son.) No name of their newborn son was given as of yet. UPDATE via Us Weekly: Naviyd Ely Raymond was born at 2:33 a.m. Wednesday and weighed 5 lbs, 13 oz. Usher has said in the past that the arrival of his new baby was the "best Christmas gift ever." Congrats to the Raymonds!



After denying the claim earlier this week, Janet Jackson and Jermaine Dupri are expecting their first child...but that's if you believe "Life & Style" magazine. If this new claim is true and regardless of Janet's age factor, best wishes to them! No doubt that baby will pick up a thing or two from the parents.

After a series of canceled concert dates, Janet Jackson finally pulled the plug on her Rock Witchu tour in early November, setting off a flurry of rumors about what could have gone wrong.Now, an insider close to Janet tells Life & Style the real reason she needed to back out: She and longtime partner Jermaine Dupri, 36, are getting ready for a baby!

Jennifer Lopez was spotted in L.A shopping with her best friend Leah Remini and her step-daughter Arianna (Marc Anthony's daughter) in Los Angeles and Beverly Hills. Gotta love those gray Louboutins!



Melanie Brown alongsider her husband Stephen Belafonte and daugthers Angel Iris Murphy and Phoenix Chi went out for dinner and a movie at the Grove in Los Angeles over the weekend. Both of Melanie's daugthers dressed alike...aww!



Ashanti (in Notte by Marchesa) supported her boyfriend Nelly's 3rd Annual Black & White Ball in St. Louis. Also in attedance were Murphy Lee and his wife Seven, Jermaine Dupri, as well as the Douglas family (her sister Kenashia, momanger Tina, and father Ken-Kaide Douglas).

Janet Jackson and Jermaine Dupri were seen at the opening celebration of Atlantis, The Palm Resort in Dubai. Both dressed to the nines for the $20 million event. In related news, Janet cancelled the U.S dates for her "Rock Witchu" tour but she just signed on to perform in Japan. (I hope Janet at least releases footage on a DVD!)



JD of course posted a new YouTube clip taken from the new $1.5 billion Atlantis, The Palm resort celebration. (Glad to see the recession hasn't hit everyone!) Look out for BET's Stephen Hill in the clip...

Mario has been busy in Atlanta working on his fourth album with productions by Tricky Stewart, Darkchild, Babyface, Stargrate and Polow Da Don according to the good folks over at RAP-UP.

The former "Dancing With The Stars" contestant claimed that the new music project will be "most personal, colossal album of his career." I can say I'm definitely excited about new Mario music!



After several years bouncing back and forth in the rumor mill, the Jackson 5 plus Janet will go on a family reunion tour next year...but that's if you believe Jermaine Jackson.



As reported by Singers Room via E News, Jermanie went on to explain: "It is just the timing, so what we've been doing is working on the music and all the logistics. It is going to be more like a family affair, Janet's going to open and, of course, the original Jackson 5 ... Michael, Randy and the whole family ... We're in the studio, we're planning on being out there next year."

Are you looking forward to see the entire Jackson clan back up on stage together? I think with Janet on board things will go out smoothly. Speaking of Janet, LL Cool J left his opening act gig for her Rock Witchu Tour according to NEWSDAY. (Is it just me or has this tour been hit with multiple setbacks?!)

UPDATE: MJ denied the Jackson 5/Janet reunion tour. Instead MJ hinted at a solo concert of his own next year. Here's what he had to say: "My brothers and sisters have my full love and support, and we've certainly shared many great experiences, but at this time I have no plans to record or tour with them. I am now in the studio developing new and exciting projects that I look forward to sharing with my fans in concert soon."

JD finally uploaded a new installment for his YouTube video blogs, "Living The Life." Janet Jackson appeared in the video to thank her fans for their support while she was sick mid-way through her "Rock Witchu" Tour and she also shut down those rumors of a split. She also denied rumors of JD throwing up on her at his birthday party at Tenjune.The video was filmed backstage at Janet's tour stop in Houston.

Retail franchise Walmart released the cover artwork for Beyonce's "I Am...Sasha Fierce" deluxe/regular editions. The famous Jackson sibling performed a medley of her old and new hits including rare songs from her solo debut album. Boyfriend Jermaine Dupri was spotted in the V.I.P section and you already know that means more YouTube updates! Janet even gave her fans updates on her tour and personal well-being via her SayNow page.

Smiling mother-daughter duo Nicole Richie and Harlow Madden can be seen on the October 20th cover edition of "People" magazine. (9-month-old Harlow's dad is Good Charlotte vocalist Joel Madden.) Doesn't Harlow look exactly like her dad??! Well Nicole had the same thought in mind for the interview.

Nicole: "Harlow's a delicate soul. She studies people. She's very coy. People say that she and I make the same expressions. But everyone says she looks like Joel."

New York even talked about when she bumped into Jennifer and David post-engagement announcement.

Here's my thing on this whole situation - All three have been on reality shows but one made it all the Oscars. Yeah "Punk" was sort of wrong for appearing on "I Love York" since he's a Harvard Law-educated but hey now everyone wants that taste of fame. On top of that, New York was the only contestant from "Flava of Love" to get not one but three shows aired on "VH1" all centered around her. Oh the drama!



Janet Jackson, who recently appeared on "The Tyra Banks Show", has announced plans to resume her "Rock Witchu" tour this Saturday at Uncasville, Connecticut.



According to Janet's Live Nation promoter,

"Janet, who has been under her doctor's care and recuperating over the last week, is excited about getting back on the road and again being able to share with her fans what she feels is one of her best stage shows ever." [Access Hollywood]

Ciara was spotted on the video set of her current single, "Go Girl" with T-Pain. The Melina-directed video has its premiere on BET's "Access Granted" on October 7th and Ciara's upcoming album "Fantasy Ride" wouldn't be out until this December. With Ciara and Christina now on that futuristic tip, are you loving this new trend or not? To be fair Janet sort of jumpstarted it this year with her "Feedback" video concept.



Over the weekend, Janet Jackson was sent to the hospital due to exhaustion but has since been released. Janet was forced to cancel her Montrel, Canada gig off her "Rock Witchu" tour. Let's hope it's the grueling hours tour has on Janet and not something serious. MTV News caught with Ciara on the music video set of "Go Girl" and she talked about the drama surrounding her recent nude "Vibe" magazine cover. Ciara still insisted that she did NOT pose nude despites what Danyel Smith had to say...

“I think, at this point, I’d rather just be quiet about things such as that but I definitely want to make it clear that I was going in to do something artistic, and I was upset that when I saw the photos, everything was gone,” the singer told MTV News last weekend, from the set of her forthcoming music video for “Go Girl,” which features a cameo from T-Pain. “It’s very, very upsetting and somewhat misleading.

Ciara also addressed this situation as well as what to expect from her "Fantasy Ride" record over at her myspace page...


On the Vibe nude cover: I know that there has been a lot of talk about the vibe magazine and this will be my last time talking about it. When vibe presented the idea to me, I was excited about trying something different and doing something Artistic. The body is beautiful, and I wanted to celebrate it. I’m at a point to whereas I’m shedding old layers of my life and the new layers are surfacing. So much has changed for me especially as a young woman and I wanted to express that. There was talk about me being upset about the shoot. When I look at the photos, I do think they are beautiful photos and I am proud of my body, I was bothered because I did indeed have on items that were removed.
I know that it was vibes mission to do something beautiful and to present me in a nice light I just think it would have been appropriate for them to get my approval to do such a thing before doing it.. I don’t want this to keep going; I just wanted to talk to u guys before I went totally silent on this topic.

Ciara wrapped up her brief myspace blog by adding that Melina directed "Go Girl" and Jamaica did the choreography. The budding R&B singer also added that Tricky Stewart, Danja, T Pain, and Rodney Jerkins did production on her upcoming third solo album, "Fantasy Ride." Ludacris, Missy, and Young Jeezy are also featured on the album.

Solange Knowles kept her Armani Jeans Ambassador active when she attended not one but two shows during Milan Womenswear Spring 2009 fashion week. Also there at Milan Fashion Week were Kelly Rowland and Ne-Yo who sat front row at the Just Cavalli show. Kelly also dropped by the D&G Spring 2009 fashion show.



Across the pond was Kelly and Solange's close friend Michelle Williams who was seen all cozy with Terrence Howard at Niche Media’s Michigan Avenue Magazine Launch Party. Michelle's album, "Unexpected" has its album release date on October 7th! Speaking of music, Terrence has his own music project going on as well.



Rodney "Darkchild" Jerkins dropped a bombshell during a recent interview with RAP-UP that confirmed Janet's dismissal from Island Def Jam Records. Darkchild produced Janet's single, "Feedback" off her album, "Discipline." Darkchild said he would love to with Janet, Jimmy Jam, and Terry Lewis on her music project. Janet in the past has been vocal about her position and frustrations with the music label. Hopefully with the success of her "Rock Witchu" tour, things on the music tip would look up.




Jamie Foxx and Fabolous team up with on the "Miss Independent" remix called, "She Got Her Own." Look out for cameos from Jill Marie Jones, Estelle, Teyana Taylor, Eve, and Keyshia Cole. Ne-Yo just released his third studio effort, "Year of The Gentleman" last Tuesday. I like how this remix slowed down the original melody. Fab is definitely on a roll...because he was just heard on the Ryan Leslie track. In case you're wondering Fab had on this Beyonce t-shirt.
