"A very excited Mario stopped by AOL Music's New York studios recently to play tracks from his upcoming third album. We're talking sheer leaping-out-of-his-chair-and-exclaiming-'That's the shit!'-when-his-favorite-cut-comes-on excited. He also didn't hold back when asked about the breakout success of another singer. "I respect Ne-Yo," Mario said of his collaborator on 'Let Me Love You.' "I think he's very talented, but you gotta have your own swagger. "Everywhere I see him, he's saying he wished he kept the song for himself. But it wouldn't have been the same. The passion I have for it would be totally different from [his]. He portrayed it as if [the song] didn't belong to me, as if I didn't do that joint. Sometimes you gotta let go and let the past be the past, bro."Yet Mario insisted there's no beef between the two, noting that they worked together again on the song 'If.' The 20- year-old is now focused on making his own household name: "On this album, I'm introducing my full name, Mario Barrett, to add a whole 'nother vibe to where I'm going. I want my fans to feel more personal with me, because we've grown together."

Snoop Dogg got arrested for alleged drug possession. Damn Snoop ou just have to be the one huh?
" Snoop Dogg was arrested on suspicion of illegal drug and gun possession, police said. The rapper, whose real name is Calvin Broadus, was arrested at 3:45 p.m. Thursday at Bob Hope Airport, police said. Snoop Dogg posted $35,000 bail and was scheduled to appear in court Dec. 12.
Airport police officers stopped Snoop Dogg at a loading zone for a vehicle code violation. When officers searched the vehicle they found a gun and marijuana, police said.
"There was no basis for this arrest," the rapper's attorney, Donald Etra, said in a statement. "We believe that once this is cleared up, all charges will be dismissed."

"Citing its policy barring ads dealing with "public controversy," the NBC network said on Friday it rejected a TV commercial for a new film documenting the furor over the Dixie Chicks' criticism of President George W. Bush.
Ads for the documentary "Shut Up & Sing" also were rebuffed by the smaller CW network, though local affiliates of all five major broadcasters, including NBC and CW, ran promotional spots for the film in New York and Los Angeles, the two cities where it opened on Friday."

I can't stand Ne-Yo---he's very full of himself. Now he's trying to do the same thing with Beyonce's Irreplaceable as well. Ne-Yo should take all in strive that he penned Mario's song. Yeah he wrote it but Mario perform it. I'm quite sure if Ne-Yo perform "Let Me Love You" he wouldn't have had the same impact like Mario did.
I heard the same thing about mario replacing Usher in Chicago. I also heard his brother JLack might step in as well.

...{{lol}}...that's right! :D...my angel flakes {teenagers that I take care of} saw Neyo recently in the mall near us and they said they didn't dig him much either...he needs 2 get over himself...he needs 2 apologize 2 Mario also...but, actually, I heard that Mario & Neyo did a song 2gether on Mario's new album...that's one thing about Mario tho'; he's so humble and down-2-earth and he's a big star 2...so the real men stand up...heeeeyyyyyy :D ;)
