JD is a ride or die man. NY Daily News claims he quit his job at Virgin because of the poor album sales of his girl, Janet. Janet's 20 Y.O only sold close to 300,000 copies its first week making it her third consecutive top-10 album {All For You, Damita Jo and now 20 Y.O}. Janet just needs to go back to her "Velvet Rope" days but the problem is that she's not a R&B star---she's a POP star! This is something JD unsuccessfully tried to do with Janet this time around. JD tried to create the same urban formula he used on Mariah and Usher, on Janet but it didn't work. So JD's like to Virgin "I'm out this bitch!"

"We told you on Monday that Jermaine Dupri had threatened to quit his job as president of Virgin Record's urban music division because he blamed his colleagues for badly marketing the CD of his girlfriend, Janet Jackson. Yesterday, sources said Dupri was in fact out of there. A rep for Virgin CEO Jason Flom had no comment by deadline."

Reuters reports and confirms Wesley in Africa on business."JOHANNESBURG (Reuters) - Actor Wesley Snipes, indicted by U.S. authorities for tax fraud this week, is filming a movie in the African country of Namibia which has no extradition treaty with Washington, officials said on Friday.
"It is confirmed. He is definitely here," Edwin Kanguatjivi, chief executive officer of the Namibia Film Commission, said by telephone. "He has been in Namibia since the end of August."
Snipes, the star of the "Blade" movie series, is the lead actor in a new movie entitled "Gallowwalker" filming in the Namibian desert near the town of Swakopmund -- the same coastal resort where Hollywood superstars Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt had their first child in May."
