After Jermaine Dupri announced his quitting over at Virgin Records last week, Reid is rumored to be possibly reaching out to JD to come over to Def Jam. But the problem is, JD had nearly the same job over at Virgin (President of Virgin's Urban Music Branch) that Jay-Z has at Def Jam. So L.A. Reid was talking about adding JD into Jay's division, which mans JD would be answering to his exec friend Hov. Now, we all know JD likely thinks that's some buls**t and a downgrade. So folks are saying he probbaly won't take him up on the offer when L.A. Reid does finally put it out there."
