John Legend talks about his recent success and inspiration
Although I don't know him like that John Legend comes across as a humble individual like someone you grew up with or someone you know. I spotted this article about him talking on his success and inspiration from a fan site, John-Legend.net. {The two pictures above and below of John and him with his fan are from his performance at Harryos in Park City.}

"John Legend seems to be living up to his adopted last name. Get Lifted, his 2004 debut, sold more than 1 million copies and earned three Grammy Awards. Now, the R&B singer returns with Once Again, in which he flexes his musical muscle in jazzier territory. The Kanye West protégé e-mailed answers to questions to plug Wednesday's show at the Celebrity Theatre. Q: How has success changed your life?A: I'm feeling more confident and more inspired now. I'm happier than I've ever been. It's great when you can succeed at what you love to do. It's also great to succeed in the right way, meaning that I've been able to follow my creative instinct without too much interference from my record label.Q: Who's on your iPod?A: Well, I have 7,800 songs on my iPod, plus a few TV shows, too. I love watching The Daily Show, The Colbert Report and The Office on my iPod. I've been listening to the new Killers' album lately. I like it a lot. My favorite albums this year so far are the Killers, Gnarls Barkley, Amy Winehouse, Beck and OutKast, in no particular order. I'm also very much looking forward to the new Jay-Z album.
