Although the album change has yet to be recognized on Kelly's official website, Kelly Rowland's official fansite reports Kelly's new album would be named "Miss Kelly." Not too fond of this name change but Change is always good or so the old saying goes. I play the new record name because it sounds like a play off my name--Miss Chi Chi. {yes I know I'm special like that, lol!}

"Rowland’s sophomore album will be released in early 2007. It was originally called 'My Story', but Rowland revealed that the title’s been changed to ‘Miss Kelly’. Describing it as an album fused with urban-R&B-pop influences, Rowland confirmed 'Miss Kelly' contains celebrity guest performances from the likes of rapper Snoop Dogg and Tank, an up-and-coming singer-songwriter. When ‘Miss Kelly’ finally gets released, Rowland is well-aware that comparisons with be made between her and Beyonce Knowles, arguably the more successful ex-Destiny Child’s singer in terms of popularity and solo album sales."

"Kelly Rowland sure knows what she wants. Her shopping trip at Tyan boutique last Wednesday evening at Palais Renaissance lasted all of 20 minutes. But in that time, she managed to rack up more than $1,300 on four items of clothing.The singer was in town for a showcase as part of the Subaru booth at the Singapore Motorshow at Suntec City on Thursday night. Before that, the 25-year-old decided to make a quick shopping pit stop at the boutique, which stocks brands such as Vivienne Tam and True Religion jeans. The final tally? Two Wal G tops, one striped and the other grey, costing $125 and $169 respectively, a $509 Vivienne Tam cheongsam and a $559 pair of orange-brown checkered shorts from Plein Sud Jeans. The total bill? $1,362."
