Akon gets my love because he reps West Africa--something we both have in common. Akon is the male verison to Ashanti and Mya---he's featured on everyone's hot single from Eminem to Snoop Dogg to One Chance. I can go on and on! Check out his new music video "I Wanna Love You." At first his voice was just a tad bit annoying to me but Akon recently came on 105.1 FM to explain his business. Akon realized if he wants to make money in the music biz he's gotta include all types of audience which explains the success of his single, "Mr. Lonely." That song was a Z100 staple--every hour that song was getting heavy rotation. Akon also mentioned that Styles P will forever be on all of his records expect the records where he's speaking in his native tongue.
