He raps in Spanish and all, but he's no more reggaeton than he is dancehall or Miami bass... We're going to get a ton of big-news fourth-quarter rap albums over the next two months, and the world is probably going to forget about El Mariel if they haven't already. That's a shame. It's one of the best rap albums of the year."
