Red lips were the big trend of 2006. Beyonce, Gwen Stefani, Janet Jackson, Christina Aguilera, Angelina Jolie and Jennifer Hudson all sported this fun look on the red carpet. In this picture: Angelina arrives at the United Nations Association annual gala dinner, New York City, October 2005. Beyonce was spotted rocking this look at Larry Johnson's b'day bash recently. Janet sported red lips on the cover of her current album, "20 Y.O." Jennifer Hudson of "Dreamgirls" displayed this hot trend in a photospread for "Entertainment Weekly." Christina Aguilera is rarely seen without her now signature red lips as she is on Back to Basics tour.

Sweater dresses were fun trend of 2006. Amerie, Christina Aguilera, and Victoria Beckham all sported this out and about.
Tips on how to rock Fashion Forward Wednesday::Sweater Dresses:
This style can be worn over a pair of slim-fit jeans, wore by alone and this trend can also be worn with a pair of dark tights or fishnet hose. You can wear this with a belt cinched at the waist like Amerie did or pair them with ankle-length boots like Christina Aguilera did. Pair your sweater dress with leggings to give it a more casual feel.

Best Dressed FEMALES
Tracee Ellis Ross is such an underrated fashion icon but I'm glad "Vibe Vixen" caught onto her fashion sense. Whether she was on "Girlfriends", on the red carpet or doing promo ads for her hit sitcom Tracee oozed the type of flawless style like her mother Diana Ross. If I had the opporunity I'll shop in Tracee's closet. I love her choice in accessories especially her handbags.



Beyonce Knowles
This girl time after time never lost a fashion minute when she's photographed. As much as Beyonce loves to be a glam chick I prefer her more laid-back like her outfit here at Rockfeller Center.

Kelis
Earlier this year Kelis broke us off with her funky shorter sassier black hair do and an offbeat fashion fly style to beat. When she went blonde towards the end of the year her clothing game never missed a step. Kelis even made Mickey D gift cards look fly as a dress! No doubt about it Kelis inspires tons of girls to cut their hair like her.

Best Dressed MALES
Usher
"Chicago" was first major project Usher took on after his diaster of a movie, "In The Mix" so he looked and acted the part. Yeah you and I sort of rub off his chubby self earlier in the year but Usher came back on top of his fashion game. Usher kept us wondering what he'll wear to basketball games or any paparazzi type candids. Usher proved to us he can wear many hats--singer/actor/Record label CEO/basketball team co-owner/dancer all in one year. 2007 looks to be a promising year for this Dallas, Texas native.

T.I
What a year this has been for him and dressed the part each time he walked the red carpet too. His swagger (re: his confidence) match his fashion sense--sharp and to the point. Whether he had Tiny on his arm or he was riding it out solo, T.I never missed a step to shine in the fashion game. Even G.Q gave T.I a nod for best dressed. As many times we've seen Tip out and about he leaves much to the mystery---do ya'll really know Tip?!

When Stars Take a Stylish Day off
This year as much as celebrities get their fashion game right there were a small few that just couldn't help themsevlves.

Deelishis from Flava of Love 2 and Buffie the Body. I don't know if they're dressing for their booty or their body! Either one thery made the list of 'when stars take a stylish day off.'

Brooke Hogan daughter of Hulk Hogan just didn't seem like she could her fashion game right. Yeah she looks great when she was filming her VH1 reality show, "Hogan Knows Best" but when time came to dress the part for her music career she got me thinking, What was SHE thinking!?!?

Queen Latifah surprised us when she walked the red carpet with her zipper WIDE OPEN for the world to see. Blame it on Lindsay Lohan, Britney Spears, and Paris Hilton's weird obsession of airing out their coochies but damn can't ya'll feel the breeze?!?!

Colin Farrell joined this exclusive club. Is that scarf or part of his top!?!
