Nas credits his love for Hennessy for the success of his first three records
Nas credits his love for Hennessy for the success of his first three records according to Page Six of the New York Post. "December 20, 2006 -- IF you thought Nas sounded under the influence on his chart-topping records, you were right. The rap legend - who celebrated the re lease of his new CD, "Hip Hop Is Dead," at a Hennessy Paradis dinner at Gin Lane - told guests including Kelis, Mark Wahlberg and Miki Howard he was flying high during many of his early re cording sessions. "Hennessy is responsible for at least my first three albums, so all of this makes sense," he crowed." {Source}
I sure hope Nas does not mean this literally...
