Melody Thornton from the Pussycat Dolls, in her first solo debut, breezes over the sample of Janet Jackson's classic, 'Let's Wait Awhile' on this new song by Jibbs--'Go Too Far.' I wonder what Janet has to say about this. Just when I was about to write off PCD as the new Destiny's Child swagger jackers. Melody proves me wrong by going solo! And what a nice voice she has. Yes she sang on PCD songs, 'Stickwitu', 'Buttons' and 'Wait A Minute' but Melody's voice is not outshined by PCD lead vocalist Nicole. Melody has potential to break out just like Nicole did on Diddy's 'Come to Me.' Anyhow I know Janet will be honored that she's getting props from this next generation of hip-hop. Miss Jackson certainly paved the way for countless R&B acts from Aaliyah to Amerie to Ciara to even Britney Spears.
