Loose Talk: JHud and Iman
Jennifer Hudson has ordered a special display case so she can show off her Oscar in her new home. The proud “Dreamgirls,” star insists the statuette she won at the Academy Awards last month will have a special place of honor in her new condo in Chicago, Illinois. She explains, "I want to put it in it's own case with theme music when you open it up." Hudson claims she might even give her new prize a bit of a makeover adding, "He needs some clothes, I want to give him an afro... Don't tell the Academy!" Hudson is still getting over the shock of winning and insists on taking her Oscar statue with her wherever she goes . She explains, "When I got my Golden Globe (Award) I took it around with me for about two weeks before I would give it up so it could be engraved." She will also reluctantly have to give her Oscar up so it can be engraved adding, "I don't like that idea, but just to get my name on it, I will!"

Iman used to boycott fashion shoots if she felt she was hired as the "token n**ger". The stunning African admits she's been subjected to racism throughout her career but when she discovered certain jobs were only offered to her because she was black, she refused to turn up. She reveals, "There was a hidden, unspoken rule that if you have, in an ad, three models one of them has to be black. Nobody said it, but it was an understanding. "I remember the first time when I was booked for something and I heard about that, I refused to take the job because I didn't want to perpetuate this token n**ger (thing). "They don't need a black model to fulfil a quota."
And in related news, "Avon Products, Inc. today announced it has signed Academy Award winner Jennifer Hudson to be the exclusive spokesperson for the Imari fragrance brand, including the newest scent, Imari Seduction. The classic Imari scent has been Avon's best selling fragrance since it launched 20 years ago." [source]
