Nas and Kelis ARE filming a MTV reality series.
Yes you read that headline right! One of my favorite celebrity couples (Janet and JD are my #1) are filming a reality series just for MTV and not for their kids as Kelis said last October.
Here's the full scoop on their MTV show:
"KELIS is the latest muso to sign up for her own reality show.
The Milkshake queen joins the ranks of Ozzy Osbourne, Jessica Simpson, Lisa Scott Lee and Gene Simmons.
The MTV-produced show, called Mr and Mrs Jones, will feature the singer and her husband, rapper Nas, as they prepare to go on tour.
An MTV exec said: "This is a show featuring two people whose dynamics are entirely their own. He tends to be very quiet and she knows exactly what he needs when he needs it.
"While other shows have focused more on the domestic side, we are taking a much stronger view and catching up to them when their tour begins."

My thoughts on this newsbreak:
I sure hope these two don't fall under that reality series curse...
Remember Jessica Simpson and Nick Lachey aren't together anymore BUT this is hope for these two---Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne are still happily married. I don't know about you but a Nas and Kelis reality show will be interesting to watch.
I seriously think this reality show is not a good look at all. We already know they got it going on. Kelis even denied this reality series rumor way back in Octoer 2006.

Kelis denied the reality series last Ocotber via All Hip-Hop:
The reality is there will be no reality show for Nas and Kelis. Nas and Kelis seem to be pretty private people. When they had their wedding on a show a few years ago, I thought they might have changed their thoughts. Anyway, Kelis told AOL that they aren’t doing anything in the television world, but just filming so that their future kids can see that they were cool at one point.LOL! I need to do that, but I was only cool when I was like three years old or something.

So IF this show is going to air on MTV, was Kelis's recent run-in with the cops down in Florida just a front to create buzz for this show?!?! Time will only tell!

Kelis on Nas being the one for her:
"I just knew. I hate when people say that, but I don’t know what else to say. It’s one of those things. I knew before I met him. When I did meet him and I was like, “this is it.” He met me, and that’s the first thing he said to me, “I knew I wasn’t crazy” - because he knew too. I’m just one of those women, when I walk into a store and I see a jacket - I’m like, “That’s my jacket.” I don’t even have to try it on. That’s what I want. I want it. I’m like that with everything."

I want the Flamingo that is Kelis to sit down somewhere and regroup. Its ok to be different...only if its natural. She looks like she's going out of her way to be different. She's different enuff with that voice sounding like one of Marge's sisters from the Simpson.
