Melanie Brown, supposedly pregnant by Eddie Murphy, had herself a stripper as entertainment at her baby shower. I thought strippers were for your bachelorette night??!
In related news, Mel C slams rumors of a Spice Girl reunion.
"MELANIE CHISHOLM has hit out at claims she is stalling a SPICE GIRLS reunion, insisting she isn't the only WANNABE hitmaker against a comeback.
The group's creator and former manager, AMERICAN IDOL boss SIMON FULLER, recently accused Sporty Spice of blocking the reunion, claiming, "Mel C thinks her solo career is bigger than the band, which is just not the case."
But Chisholm insists, "There is no reunion. I'm painted as the villain who doesn't want us to reunite. But I'm not the only one. We have been much criticised so why face it all again?
"Life has moved on for all of us and we are looking to the future."
The 32-year-old claims she is too busy dreaming of motherhood, adding, "I'm really excited about the next phase in my life. I daydream about living in Wales and taking the kids to school. I don't want to leave it too late to have children." [source]
Oprah's first South African school is said to be too strict for its pupils!
"Oprah Winfrey has come under fire from parents of children attending her all-girl leadership academy in South Africa--for keeping them away from their kids.
As the media mogul opened a second South African school on Friday, the parents of kids attending her first educational facility outside Johannesburg were on the attack.
They claim strict visitation rules are far from ideal and they want greater access to their children.
A small group of mothers has compared the school's restrictions on visits and phone calls to life in a prison.
The concerned moms reveal they're only allowed to spend two hours a month with their daughters, who are full-time students at the Oprah Winfrey Leadership Academy in Henley-on-Klip.
Frances Mans, the foster mother of student Gweneth Mulder, tells South Africa's Media 24 network her recent visit to the school was a "nightmare."
She explains, "We had only two hours to see my child. Surely this isn't a prison."
A second mother, Angela Conradie, reveals her homesick daughter is very upset about the school rules: "Michelle phones me in tears sometimes, and then I don't know what to say to her." [source]
In related news, Oprah's open up her second South African school. She is one smart individual. Building schools will forever leave lasting sense of enrichment for years to come.

Whitney and her boy toy Ray J are going to have to keep their love affair private...if not Clive's going to throw a fit.
"Legendary music exec Clive Davis has told Whitney Houston, 43, that she needs to drop new beau, Ray J, 26, the younger brother of singer Brandy. If she doesn't, Clive, who has been orchestrating her comeback, will drop her, says a source close to Davis! "Ray J isn't the type of guy Clive wants her with right now," says the source. Could it be because the R&B singer/actor, who released the CD Raydiation in 2005, has a reputation for partying hard, and Whitney is still recovering from her many years of drug addiction? Or perphas it's the sex tape he made with ex-girlfriend Kim Kardashian, which was shold to Vivid Entertainment for $1 million! Whitney's rep denies the story, saying that Ray J is only "an old family freind" and Clive's rep says there aren't any problems and they plan to start recording this week."
