Letoya Luckett paid tribute to Patti LaBelle via a soulful rendition of "Talk About Love" at "An Evening of Stars" TV special which honored Patti's music career. (The special was taped back in September but it recently air on TV.) Letoya nailed it completely. (Thanks Necole & LetoyaOnline!)

Zoe Kravitz was seen at two major events in New York City. She first attended the Film Benefit Gala honoring director Baz Luhrmann in this coral dress. Zoe then pose with another famous offspring Riley Keough - Elvis Prestley's granddaughter at the 2008 MTV U Woodie Awards.



Sanaa Lathan rock a turquoise shirt dress at the Alberta Ferretti US flagship opening. I cosign Blogger Myssidominici's comment on Sanaa's looking flawless! Next up for Sanaa is a voice over role for FOX's animated comedy series, "The Cleveland Show."



Ray J filmed a scene for his upcoming bachelor/dating-typed VH1 reality series on Robertson Blvd. He was seen shopping at Kitson and Madison with possible female contestants. Brandy even admitted recently to Angie Martinez that she doesn't see her brother ever settling down.



Over at New York's Hammerstein Ballroom, Alicia Keys, Padma Lakshmi, and Jessica Alba look fab at the 5th Annual Keep A Child Alive Black Ball. (Alicia was the event's ambassador as she was last year.) Also there were Justin Timberlake and Tyra Banks who had on a snug-fit red Michael Kors number.




Selita Ebanks joined her fellow Victoria's Secret models for a quick holiday photo session in Miami Beach. Selita and company exchanged holiday gift picks. The Victoria's Secret Fashion broadcast on December 3rd with a performance by Usher.

Ray J joined his older sister Brandy to hype up her live (re: first-ever) performance of her current single, "Right Here (Departed)" at Jam 94.5's Monsterball event in Boston. The brother and sister duo has since said that they plan on working together via the tentatively-titled project, "R&B." Anyhow, the album release for Brandy's upcoming "Human" due out on December 9th can't come any sooner!



Anyone saw Brandy on "The Hills" the other day? She was in the studio working on "Long Distance" with Darkchild and Epic Records employee/"Hills" star Audrina Patridge.

Brandy went shopping with MySpace's weekly fashion series "The Fit." The "Right Here (Departed)" singer also posted up several candids of her brother Ray J at Detroit's Hot 102.7 and chilling with her daughter Sy'Rai onto her myspace page. DJ Booth recently caught up with Brandy who said she wrote a lot of material (including the Natasha Bedingfield-collaboration, "Fall") on her upcoming fifth solo album, "Human."



Mary J Blige and Musiq Soulchild were seen on the video set of his latest single, "If You Leave" in Manhattan. Musiq after a little style switch up slowly made his way back to his original musical stance. "If You Leave" is a favorite of mine's and I cannot wait to check out the music video because MJB and Musiq are strictly about quality R&B music.



Not too long ago, Musiq added a video clip of his single, "So Beautiful" on myspace page. He performed the new single at Washington, DC back in August. "So Beautiful" and "If You Leave" will be include on his upcoming album, "OnMyRadio." Check it out...

Moments ago on Yahoo Music, the video premiere of Brandy's lead single, "Right Here (Departed)" was released. I love that the video didn't have a dance routine but instead focus on Brandy's vocals and lyrics. As mentioned earlier Brandy's brother Ray J and her long-time producer Darkchild made cameos in the video. B-Rocka's back, folks! Brandy's upcoming record, "Human" wouldn't be in stores until November 11th!


On the fashion tip, Brandy wore a silk charmeuse Richard Ruiz dress in the video. A similar off-the-shoulder look with the same champagne horus print design is already sold out on PIXIEMARKET.COM!

During a four-year-long hiatus, new music and video clips from R&B singer Brandy made its way online. Brandy picked the Darkchild-produced track, "Right Here (Departed)" as her comeback single off her upcoming disc, "Human." Check her out on the "RHD" video set with her brother Ray J, music director Lil' X, Tia Mowry's husband who plays her on-screen squeeze, and her adorable daughter Sy'Rai.





In a recent interview with PEOPLE.COM, Brandy filled in her fans about her new sound: "Being able to express myself and my journey through my music is a feeling I can't describe." Brandy also goes to blog - "Human is my most personal album to date. I have grown so much since my last album. Being able to express myself and my journey through my music is a feeling I can't describe." In other words, this album may be better than "Full Moon" and "Afrodisiac" COMBINED.

Whitney Houston and Ray J made their way out of Villa nightclub in Hollywood. So what's the catch? That the big diamond ring on Whitney's finger has the urban blogosphere up in arms. Whitney's new single, "Like I Never Left" just surfaced online days ago and now a public display of diamonds WITH Ray J?!?!? Fresh off the heels of her 24th birthday bash in Atlanta, Fantasia Barrino has a new single out called, "Broke Master." I'm not sure if the track would be included on her upcoming disc but I do know that the funky-groove song was produced by Midi Mafia.



A new leaked track from Solange's upcoming disc, "Sol-Angel and the Hadley Street Dreams" caused a frenzy on the urban music blogosphere today. The song in question is called, "I Told You So." Without listening to the track, the first thought that came to my mind was Solange taunting her critics about seeking fame outside of her sister Beyonce's shadows. But when I listen to the song, I stood corrected. According to RAP-UP.COM, the song was produced by Shea Taylor. Anyhow congrats to Solange on securing her first major successful hit via ("I Decided")which landed on the #44 spot on Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart last week.



Michelle Williams must have read the online buzz about her "We Break The Dawn" video treatment. I say this because critics called Michelle as a younger Whitney Houston so the underdog Destiny's Child vocalist took that positive criticism and ran with it. Michelle incorporated a vintage Whitney track into a live performance of "We Break The Dawn" at Nighclub in New York City. Michelle also performed a new song off her "Unexpected" album called, "Hello Heartbreak." (Thanks BigKingofNY!)



Ray J posted up a video reponse on his official website about rumors of a sex tape featuring him and two members of Danity Kane. D. Woods and Aubrey O'Day made a brief cameo towards the end of the clip. Well Ray J has to keep his name out there somehow I guess. You can't knock his hustle, lol! Ray J finally released the video treatment for his second single, "Gifts" taken off his current album, "All I Feel." "Gifts" seems to pick up the same club vibe as his previous hit, "Sexy Can I". Anyhow Ray J explained some of the dance moves from the "Gifts" video which you can check out here.

Reggie Bush and Kim Kardashian hosted an all-white party in the Hamptons over the Memorial Day Weekend. Reggie took a break from his training with the New Orleans Saints to be with Kim. Reggie's girl later confirmed to PEOPLE.COM, "The fact that he came with me all the way to the Hamptons on his day off when all of his friends are in Las Vegas on their usual – you know, [getaway]."

Beyonce and Jay-Z got cozy while out and about in Cannes. Reportedly Beyonce has been asked to sing the James Bond theme song after Amy Winehouse dropped out of the position. If the agreement goes through, Beyonce will "...join that ranks of Shirley Bassey, Gladys Knight and Tina Turner as the only African American women to the have the honor of creating the theme song for such a long lasting franchise", according to BVB.


Earlier today, Seal and his wife Heidi Klumn were caught in some serious lip lock game outside LAX airport. Just in case you missed Seal's performance on the season 7 finale of "American Idol" re-visit that moment here.

On-again/off-again couple Lil' Kim and Ray J enjoyed a quiet dinner. I guess these two are just friends as Ray supposedly proposed to Whitney Houston. Kim just released a new single called, "Respirator".

Whitney Houston and Ray J were seen side by side this pas Saturday at the Hopkins vs. Calzaghe boxing fight in Las Vegas. Whitney's daughter Bobbi Kristina was also there.

Each time these two come out together on the scene, questions like "are they just friends?" or "are they the new couple"? persist.

Bottom line, Whitney seems to be happy and Ray J seems to be enjoying the media attention.

In better-late-than-never news, Whitney Houston was seen in Atlanta supporting her close friend Ray J's Hot 107.9 gig.

Ray J performed at Compound alongside Mario and Ashanti for the popular ATL-based radio station's "Hot on The Runway Fashion" show.

Whitney and Ray J are certainly enjoying being with one another in spite of the age differences (44 and 27 respectively). And that's if you asked Ray J himself.

In a song on his album, Ray J reportedly took a jab at Whitney's ex-husband Bobby Brown.

And the 27-year-old singer has used a song on his new album All I Feel to taunt Brown, by insinuating his marriage to Houston failed as a result of his poor love-making techniques.

On the track Boyfriend, he sings, "Is that your wife, is that your shorty? Well I'm her boyfriend... I think the problem is you don't beat it right... Making love is cool, just pull her hair sometimes." [THE POST CHRONICLE]

Rihanna flaunted a new starry tattoo at her best friend Melissa Forde's birthday bash. Celebrity events included Teyana Taylor, Dawn Richard of Danity Kane, Qwanell of Day 26, Chris Brown, Chrisette Michele, Laurie Anne Gibson, Wynter Gordon, Ray J, and Keith Robinson of "Dreamgirls" fame.

Dawn and Qwanell were seen getting extra cozyand comfortable with one another as they just confirmed their romantic status on a recent "Making The Band" finale.

Close friends Chris Brown and Rihanna did not take photos together.

The star-studded party was held at Star Lounge in New York City last night.
