WRAP-UP HOOPLA: CIARA ON "#25?" , THE NEW COUPLES, PLUS 50 CENT

-Ciara and 50 Cent in a screen shot from their music video, "Can't Leave 'Em Alone."-

"25?" Was that number a throwback to Reggie Bush's football jersey? Was that number about her new relationship with 50 Cent? Just what in the world was Ciara hinting at with the "25?" Ciara finally explains that now infamous "#25?" that was on the back of the jersey she sported at the end of her 2007 BET Awards performance:
"I don't know if you've seen the Top 25 Dancers countdown on BET; I acknowledged that," she admitted, quashing the other rumors. "It was truly a blessing to be here," she added about the awards. "To be acknowledged by BET, BET Awards in particular, means a lot. And to be able to perform with all other the other talented performers that were there tonight really meant a lot to me. ... It was a fun experience, I was looking forward to it, it was my second time performing. I just wanted to come and show my evolution."

Catch the performance once again here.

And now onto the pair of new couple alerts on the scene---wait for it---Lil' Scrappy and Diamond from Crime Mob PLUS Ray J and Lil' Kim:

Remember that old saying? A photo says a thousand words. Scrappy did a hook on Crime Mob's Knuck If You Buck. Ray J and Kim also did a song together--Wait A Minute. So just what are Scrappy, Diamond, Ray J and Lil' Kim trying to say in these pictures?!? Probably not a damn thing. If folks want to believe Ciara and 50 are together based on them sitting together at the BET Awards, why not these new couples.

Ciara's 'boyfriend' 50 Cent recently visited "106 & Park" to explain his odd BET Awards performance:

"When I prepared the performance, we went through the run-through and it just went totally different from what I actually got the chance to do," he said. "It's a disappointment, but I'll get a chance to do it again, so I'll feel good about it. But just, when I went through the run-through — we got some footage that we can show you — you see me come out from under there with no problem, without actually being hit by the aerialist. I'm like 25 feet in the air at that point. And later on when you see the actual show, it wasn't planned for me to take my hat off or take my jacket off.

"Everything doesn't quite happen the way you practice it," he continued. "You see, I was hit by the aerialist and I was wibbly-wobbling coming down. Twenty five feet in the air, man, you fall — can't nobody help me with that, you know what I mean? Then by the time you get down, you try and regroup to fight, you got the pyro going off, the music starts, we four bars into the song, you know — I just wasn't concentrating."

Remember those days when 50 was fine without talking as much. I'm all for opinions and all but damn 50! LOL!

He's still one of the best in the game. Best looking body....ummhhhmmm

i don't think anybody should want to date him. he seems like one of those men you would want to punch in the face because he starts whining like a girl and talking too much smack when things don't go his way . lol

Licia, this is why I want the 50 from his "Wangsta" days, lol!

I'm re-reading what he had to say about the whole BET Awards fiasco and I'm just SMH!

50 knows how to stay in the tabloids!

i would love to have that 50 back. i could handle him back then . now i can't stand him. i can't even listen to his music anymore. his first album is the only album i have . he doesn't have to cause all this beef controversy. he has so much talent and good business sense.

50 took all that heat going on between him and Cam to name his current record, Curtis. {smh}

One thing I do respect about 50 is keeping his name out there whenever he has a project going on.

Case in point when he did that movie, there were rumors of him and his co-star Joy Bryant going together.

I remember when his first single/video dropped and 50 was all quiet. {re: his body did the talking for him.} Prior to 50, we had LL as hip-hop's male eye candy.

I just hope LL signing with G-Unit doesn't keep him down.
