Kelly on pressure:
"People are going to have their opinions and put pressure
on me to do better than "Dilemma" or better than Beyonce. You gotta have fun
when do this or otherwise you will hate it."
Kelly also revealed in the interview she'll go on tour this fall.
Kelly Ro will also be doing an AOL Sessions:
"I wanted to make sure that people got a chance to get to know me as Kelly Rowland and not so much Kelly Rowland of Destiny's Child," Rowland told PopEater during her Sessions taping. "I've been in Destiny's Child for many moons of my life. [I want them] to get a chance to listen and [hear] me express myself as an
individual instead of with the group."
The singer asserts that this effort tracks her personal evolution with a sound that's "grown up, confident and sexy." But above all, it's all Rowland. "I feel like the public is taking the transition really well," she said. "I've gotten nothing but great feedback. I feel like people, this time, got a chance to know me. I'm happy about that."

Her album is really consistent. "This is Love" could be a nice wedding song. "Still in Love with My X" is something everyone could relate to.
I want her to come out with "The Show" and "Every Thought Is You."
Licia what you said is absolutely correct. Hopefully Kelly will see that she has in in her. She's been in the background and now she's finally up front---so that might take some getting used to.
Kelly started out second lead but now she's on her second solo record all by herself in the spotlight. Even Beyonce said she gets nerves doing shows without Kelly and Michelle being there.

Take some time getting used to being up front? Solo? Singing and dancing live? Breathing? Come the eff on Kelly doesn't need time what she needs is an overdose of reality and time to self-reflect. Anybody with drive can be 10x better than provocative, non-acting, butt pad, fake good girl, ByawnSay. Kelly needs to be opposite ByawnSay. Kelly needs to expose herself, her hangups and pain without sweetening the water. She needs to sever ties with limelight attention-whore ByawnSay, her crack nose pappy, and her witch-face mammy. Kelly needs to rebrand herself top down and drink some confidence because I'm not buying this time factor. Kelly, where did all that backbone go when you conspired with the Knowles Kult to oust her former members? Stank attitude phony, floptastic bump like this idiot!

i don't want people to pressure her to be better than beyonce i want people to make her realize that she can be better than beyonce. she still hasn't realized just how much talent she has. she doesn't deserve to be in the background . she just released a great album that getting so little promotion and it deserves much more . she can't keep sitting back and accepting this. i am glad that she is going to tour though because that's where alot of her money will come from.
